Hi, are these new functionalities already automatically rolled out with Copilot Pro & Copilot 365 ? Or do we need to wait and/or upgrade to some last version ? (thanks for the video and insights)

All of these features should be rolled out - as I took the video content straight from our Copilot setup, which is a normal Copilot for Microsoft 365 setup, with no beta or early access. Thanks for your kind feedback too

I noticed the new Copilot Chat panel Outlook too. It is good to see some consistency developing across the M365 apps with this. It is taking a little while to settle in with Outlook. Some suggested prompts don't work and some do but only if you use the exact phrasing. Early adopters like us have patience and know the experience will improve over time. When I am working with clients, I always set the expectation that Copilot needs work and is in rapid development. There will be rough edges 😆

Absolutely, I think that Copilot is continually improving and what we have today is much better than the ‘Day One’ version which was pretty underwhelming , so I’m interested to see where it goes from here as that will really then push the case to use Copilot

I don't have that new Copilot icon on either my outlook on the web, or my "new outlook" app for the pc.

For Copilot to appear in Office, you would need a Microsoft Copilot Pro Subscription or a Microsoft 365 Copilot Subscription - so just check that you have one of those in place, and it will then appear 😀

@@your365coach I've got the same problem and I definitely have a Copilot Pro subscription and an Office single subscription but in Germany. Could that be making any difference? By the way: I tried to let Copilot do me a draft of a flyer based on another Word document. It created nice content, it just wasn't based on the document I told it to use, it just used fantasy data. Do you have any idea, how this could happen? Thank you.

HI - when I ask Copilot in Word how many words it can summarize - it reply 10.000 - but you says 80.000.

Yes it’s a recent change and defined here by Microsoft ‘For summarize around 80,000 words or less is a sweet spot for Copilot to summarize a document effectively.’ Sometimes Copilot won’t know its own limits 😂
