Idk if its just my nature, or other women also share this but i love to show off my home decor n my thought process that has gone into keeping everyone n everything in mind. For example, v mostly have parties of atleast 5 to 7 families. Each family has at least 4 members 2 of which are kids. Also, most of them have are quite playful. That's y, v have two living rooms one of which has our dining table. The men n women eat separately. After dinner the men move to the drawing room while the women move to the living room. All our sofas n couches have washable cushion covers n they have dark prints. V have rugs on the floor where v can layout the cloth spread for the kids to eat. V use disposable plates n cutlery. I have made my youngest daughter's bedroom into a walk in closet as well. The reason i m writing all this is... V can decorate our houses in dark unstainable colours n with unbreakable affordable stuff. What's a house where family can't sit n eat on the couch n kids cant leave their muddy shoes djring the rains atleast just inside the door? If v overdecorate, then v have to spend loads of our time or money in keeping the things clean from dust.
