Attractive and easy to use..but what about the safety features designed to secure the device to the head. Seems to me would be quite easy to lose or fall off if the head was impacted in any way. So the other issue is the cost..what is the cost of each unit and is it completely water proof??

I have nuclease 7 cochlear implants on both sides and Im actually getting a kanso my parents gonna buy for me bc Im insecure of wearing it in public and Im glad theres kanso 2 I can just put it on my head instead of ear and nobody would have to see it I cant wait to get these devices!

I have the nuclease 7 and I had the same problem my audiologist recommended to try a weaker magnet to make it feel comfortable for the skin

I have a Baha 5 processor and I find that designed to be a bit bulky I'm guessing it uses magnetic technology to keep it on to the skull a piece of advice would be to shrink the size a bit down to the size of a Baha 5

Kanso is so big in size. Do you foresee the sound processor to be fitted inside of the ear canal and completely hidden from outside?

My mom has a Kanso and i am getting one soon. In person it appears smaller than the videos and photos. In future upgrades if they can make it a bit thinner I think it will be perfect.

I can hear them but I can not understand them. Is like you are hearing a new language but you can not understand. That's how I felt all the time. And because of this I have no friends. So I am alone. I don't have any friends. So I haven't found a friend for 2 years. From class 10 till now (class 11). After Middle School and Junior High school ( Grade 1-9 )l, I had no friends in Secondary high school (Grade 10- present 11). I was lucky to have friends when I was in Middle School and Junior High School ( Grade 1-9 ), but my luck ran out in Secondary high school (Grade 10- present 11 ). Also I have problems with pronunciation, so I have an accent. I have a close friend and he has Nucleus 7 and speaks like he is from our country. People ask me every time "where are you from, you don't look like you are from here etc, etc which is very annoying for me. I suggest you guys don't buy this. I am warning you because you will suffer a lot just like me. It is better if you get Nucleus 7 or 8. If you don't have money for Nucleus 7 or 8, buy KANSO 2 but DO NOT BUY KANSO 1. You will suffer a lot. Don't buy it. You can't understand anything with Kanso 1. And also I am not lying, if you think I am lying it's your problem.''

How do you secure it on the heads of children? especially during playing and gymnastics? Doesn't seem like a good idea to put that expensive of a product on a child's head that can easily fall off. Also how small it is makes it hard to find if it were to fall to the ground. There should be a cell phone app that has a tracking device...like a gps tracker to locate such a device.

Tenny John I think you should start with teaching your child to take care of it. I use a cap, visor or band to secure my N6 . N7 has tracking, GPS , iPhone compatible .

For most kanso when they just get it they a little clip thing that attaches to it I just got my cochlear implant updated to a kanso maybe like a year ago and I always use the clip with it because I don't want it to fall off and break
