Hey hey!! dont tell everyone our hidden secrets... haha Its a paradise I love to go in the summer, its my 3rd trip 🙂 The beaches are amazing , close to the type you would see in Mexico, (old harry, Sandy hook), the food is great and people are amazing and very friendly. If you want to stay in the peak time of tourism, plan way ahead if your not a camping person (easier to find spots). Its not very very hot and windy so perfect to be outside without getting cooked in a microwave... For people that love wind sports (kite board) you will be in heaven.

It's an amazing archipelago and I was so excited that I was invited to discover it first hand. I'll definitely be a return visitor! If only it was a bit closer to where I live. One of the best-kept secrets in Canada, 100%.

Interesting place. Planning out my trip to eastern Canada right now (my final 4 Provences). I do have a few days to fill in, so might have to add a quick trip over to Magdalen.

Definitely worth a detour! It's an incredible little archipelago and at only 80 km long, it's very easy to see everything the islands have to offer even during a short visit. Cheap ferry ride from PEI, too!

I love how big the port holes are.

Massive, eh?!

I've been there. It's similar to PEI, due to the red sand.

Dude! I live there lol I wonder if I'll see myself or my house. Many tourists are not respectable to the environment here tho.

That's unfortunate to hear! I tried to be respectful and leave everything as I found it. I am jealous that you get to live on such a beautiful archipelago - truly one of Canada's most amazing destinations!

5 hours on a ferry? That boat should have done nice things on it.

I think they had a movie room, but it was pretty low key. I was surprised that they offer private rooms for such a short journey. But all in all, really comfortable experience - for less than $30 USD, I was very impressed.

The restaurant looks like it has those old industrial lighting fixtures that taverns like to use. That's awesome.

It was a beautiful space! Breakfast was even better, but I forgot my camera to document the meal - oops.

You cant believe a beach like that is even in canada?? Have you been to PEI? All of the maritimes have great beaches!! I'm an insulted Islander by your comment.

News flash! Only Maritimers know of Canadian Maritime beaches. This is probably why an Albertan creator was hired to discover the archipelago and report back to my viewers (primarily western Canada & the United States - who also know nothing about the Maritimes). Remember, the purpose of a tourism promotional video is to inform people far disconnected from a geographic region about the highlights of that geographic region. I think this video serves that purpose: bringing to light what we do not know.
