Sainte Agnes is such a picturesque village! The cobblestone streets, charming stone houses, and colorful flowers make it look straight out of a storybook. The views of the hills and the sea are simply breathtaking. Living there must feel like a dream come true! Thank you for showing us this beautiful place.

Hello,Michelle and Charlie.👋😊🌟 The green mountains and rows of stone houses continue, and when you enter alleys paved with pebbles, can see the medieval atmosphere. Your video camera continues to capture this natural treasure of Sainte Agnès with great politeness. The Church of Notre Dame des Neiges has a long history, and there are statues of the Virgin Mary who made it snow, and the statue of Sainte Agnès, we were also given a slow tour of the interior of the church. The lively running dogs, the sound of birds chirping, and the chimes from the bell tower made us feel the peacefulness of Sainte Agnès and were very pleasant….🎵 We were captivated by the panoramic beauty of the Côte d’Azur our eyes were glued to it!☝️💫🇫🇷 We sincerely wish Michelle and Charlie a healthy and happy time.💟 Yosh and Iku

We had fun timing the filming as quite often the village is in cloud and the views cannot be seen. We picked a great day for the weather. Such a pretty little village, that does not get so many visitors as the winding road up the mountain can be challenging for less experienced drivers. I was there in the summer of 2021, and ended my visit with dinner at the St Ives Inn and restaurant…my photographer-travel-companion friend agreed that it was a fine way to end an exquisite afternoon…down below, we viewed Menton, “Pearl of France”, from one of the most rarified vantage points on earth…the village of St Agnes, highest on the French Riviera…a major “bucket list” item now checked off…a beautiful experience. Approaching the village from the winding road below, it seems suspended in air, hanging off the side of a mountain…incredible.

Looked it up on the map and it's virtually a suburb of Mentone and right on the Italian border which explains its very Italianate look - especially considering that this area including Nice didn't become politically French until about the 1860's as part of a deal between the French emperor and the Piedmont-Sardinian kingdom -before that this area was usually part of the Republic of Genoa.
