Discover Tübingen with Dhruv Rathee | Travel Tips for Tübingen in Baden-Württemberg, Germany

Join KZbinr ‪@dhruvrathee‬ and girlfriend Juli as they discover the German city of Tübingen! Stroll with them through the old university town; over cobblestoned streets and past half-timbered houses. Tübingen is currently running a pilot program - while almost everything is closed in the rest of the country, here museums, restaurants, and cinemas are open to visitors who have a recent, negative coronavirus test. Dhruv and Juli also pay a visit to the famous Blautopf springs not far from Tübingen, taking in the color of their beautiful, luminous blue waters.
Please note: Dhruv was in Tübingen at the start of April, 2021. The city’s coronavirus trial project - which amongst other things permitted retailers, and well as arts and culture venues to reopen - was ended on account of the high incidence rates in the county.

Tuebingen is the place where DNA was discovered by Friedrich Miescher in 1868. Original puss sample is still preserved at Schloss labor museum. Tuebingen is the breeding ground of modern day biochemistry.

In Germany English is a second language or many don't speak English there ? Is it mandatory to know some German before visiting ??

English is a second language in Germany, but as a tourist you'll be just fine with not speaking it. Most people have at least basic English skills and most tourism related things are often multilingual. Once you actually live in Germany some basic German is recommended, esp. when dealing with the famous German bureaucracy 😀

Can't the producers do their homework and ensure that you do not appear in places that are closed? Waste of time and frustrating for the viewer.
