Thank you for this video. It certainly gave me food for thought when I come to plan my next visit to Spain. Although there are any number of beautiful villages in Spain (coastal or otherwise), I am more than a little surprised that you did not include Tarifa. Situated at the exact point where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean, Tarifa is the southernmost point on the European mainland. As if that was not enough to merit a visit, it is also world famous for the winds that make it a "must" destination for wind surfers.

Thank you for your kind words! 🙏 Regarding Tarifa, I personally don't find the region very safe, especially since it's only 20 km from Algeciras, which is known as one of the most dangerous places in Spain. Additionally, Tarifa is very windy, so in my opinion, it’s not an ideal place to relocate to. I believe one day is enough to explore Tarifa. That said, this is just my perspective. For a kitesurfer, for instance, it could be the perfect place to live.

For the last 5 years my favorite town was Calpe but, in recent years the town started to lose its authenticity due to the surge of construction of high rise apartment buildings. People started to call it Small Benidorm. 🙂 At the moment Javea is much better value for money than Calpe.

I have booked a week in Calpe for October to get a 4th era look at the town. I first came as a 5 year old in 1978 so will see what has changed. Will be my 5th different decade I have visited (gap from 1998 to 2016).
