None of the new vauxhalls do it for me... i will be keeping my "sporty" 2016 plate 3 door astra gtc instead... i am a vauxhall fan through and through but these new models all look the same and not nice imo i dont know what i will buy next but i doubt it will be a vauxhall if they keep this trend up.

Great looking car I prefer the styling on Vauxhalls to Peugeot less fussy and I think the clean sharp edges will age better too.

I don’t know who chose the colour for the demo vehicle, but it’s stunning in every other colour. Btwn price, 8yr warranties & the test drive, I’ve ordered the Ultimate over the new Focus ST. It’s £6K cheaper once you add the extras that are on the Astra.

Electric Yellow is THE colour to have on the new Astra. You can stick your boring colours like silver, black etc. Express yourself and stand out from the crowd, don’t follow the boring herd. If you really must be boring then this new Astra looks great in plain solid white which reminds me of my old Mk1 Astra GTE from the 80s, it also has the added bonus being the only colour that’s no cost standard on this new Astra , but Electric Yellow really is where it’s at. 😉

• I photographed a white Mk 1 Astra, in the Mull Rally. The only one of its kind in the country. Brought back many memories. • All I can say is; it’s worth the wait. My last car was a Mercedes A-Class AMG Line, Exec Package. The Astra Ultimate blows it away in every category, especially comfort, power, value for money & technology. Shame it’s still such a long wait for delivery.
