Important topic for me from May 24th. Thanks for this insight. I think all of the apartments are good, but I wouldn't rent any of the 3 condos for the prices asked. For this higher price category, based on Pattaya standards, I expect more modern or new furniture and equipment. I consider 17-20 k baht to be more appropriate.

There aren’t many 125m2 condos. That’s huge for a condo - like 4x the size of a regular £250 condo. You’re paying for that plus the nice interior trimmings. £500/month really isn’t bad at all for something of that size.

Great podcast Trevor. Looking at things realistically its pretty obvious that people not having the right income are a little bit itf a problem in these areas. Thai people they just don't warm to you if your throwing the baby out with the bath water. If you're worried about a few extra dollars whilst living abroad you really have to consider what is tapping into your income and preventing you reaching your full fiscal potential. Don't drive a Mercedes if you cant afford the parking fellas. Stay crull.
