For Those Who are New to Elden Ring:
Tired of all the Elden Ring Rune Farm "Click Bait" non-sense? Tired of clicking on videos that say; "Best NEW Farming spot, 100 Billion Runes in 30 seconds" / “CRAZY NEW RUNE GLITCH LEVEL 700 INSTANTLY!” …………just to come away from it with 30k Runes, and cave moss in your pocket feeling like you bought a fake Rolex off a dirty New York city street table held up by milk crates?
We all are (which is why I made a 2024 video, to cut through some of the smog). This cinematic farming video experience will guide you on the right path to leveling your character in the most entertaining way my current editing skills can provide (I’ll get better eventually), all while giving you the most accurate numbers I can (I’m no astrophysicist, or Sciencey math wiz but I know 100k runes every 2 minutes doesn’t equal 100 Million.).

For Those Who Have Played Elden Ring Before:
The Truth is while Rune farming methods differ, all the best spots in 2024, are virtually the same as they were in 2023 and none of them were effected by patch 1.10. So, if you've been playing Elden Ring from the start, you'll recognize a lot of what is covered as far as Rune Farming goes.

Edit: Rune Glitch card says; "1 Runs - Instead of 1 Run" (My bad. Forrest from the trees on that one.)
Edit 2: The 13,784 points of Damage to elder dragon from blood loss also accounts for the flail damage leading up to the hemorrhage trigger. (wasn’t clear on that…too many energy drinks)
Edit 3: From @Titus Gilbert If the first strike to an enemy deals over 150% of its max HP, it gives 20% more runes. So max the Wave of Gold damage! Thanks Titus.
Edit 4: Golden Leaves will occasionally shower from the Erdtree, increasing rune acquisition by 5% as long as the leaves are falling.

For those who have a hard time aiming through the tree for the bird or want a consistent time farming it; attach the rain of arrows skill from redmane painting in caelid and attach the talisman arrows reach(limgrave), approach the cliff as normal and as long as the bird is close to the tree itll hit. ^_^

I always just use Frenzy Burst spell, its a tad harder to hit him than with an arrow but has better range and you dont have to keep buying arrows when you run out.

But it’s low on my video list at the moment since the DLC farming spots suck in comparison.

I was really scared to try the dragon method, but it worked! What helped me was to leave the camera pointing back at the site of grace for the last bit of its health. Even though I jumped off Torrent too early I was still able to get to the grace on time. Good stuff

I do the bird farm and get 11k runes per kill, but sometimes out of nowhere it gives me 50k. Why is that?

@professorm3136 So it’s not unusual actually, but it is random. The video that I pushed out recently explains it in a little more detail, but the short version is that there is a game mechanic that randomly generates enemies with Golden Eyes, which when defeated grant you a 5x bonus for killing that particular enemy (during night time hours). When enemies have golden eyes they give 5x runes, only happens at night so if you do a lot of farming make sure you do it at night

Yep, Arrow shoot Murder Turkey, the use Star Caller Cry from Radhn's Great Swords on Grey Albs, and Red Albs is the most consistent Rune Farm.

I see a new video almost everyday promising millions of runes in 5 minutes, but they all lie. So sick of it. Its always the same jump glitch from a "new" spot that give 150,000 after making tricky jumps for 5 minutes. So lame. Thanks for crunching the numbers on the different methods!!

@outofthegamer Anytime, and thanks for this comment. I know what you’re talking about, some of those videos have some poor packaging. It’s like going to the store and picking up a jar of skippy peanut butter but when you get home and open it, it’s full of Lima Beans. It’s one of the reasons I crunched the exact numbers, and showed the exact times. Viewers should be correctly informed and deserve well produced content; not fooled into watching a video just to find out 1 minute into it that it’s the same video that’s posted over and over weekly. I did a video last year on all the numbers on every jump glitch that works, and they are all pretty much trash, unless you’re just using it as a quick one shot payout for cash to upgrade weapons. @kzukiodenthechad7205 What may work for you, depending on you’re build is dragons rot breath, with the dragon communion seal, you’ll have to level the seal till you have S-teir scaling and then slap the roar medallion on as well. Hope that helps in the mean time.

This is the best video I’ve seen for rune farming. When I first played I exploited the jump points but it still felt too long and a lot of clicking and unintentional falling was annoying. The sacred relic sword is by far the best, and I was combining the Bird also as it’s a 5-10 sec shot but when I did the numbers it was better to just run the golden wave on its own

@ lukejacumin3967 Sounds exactly like what I’m attempting lol. Brand new play-playthrough, all weapons, armor and side quests, bell bearings, Larval tears….and enough runes to max out. I have a level 135 first play-through character already staged and ready to go, but want an OP character on standby lol. I’m not going into DLC with my NG+ characters because I have a bad feeling that going into DLC at NG+ is gonna make Melania feel like a Disney Princess. As with all Fromsoft souls games it can be difficult to get a foothold early, especially when one is new to the game. On my first play through I got to Malenia and quit after constant defeat. Second play through I didn't even fight Malenia because of those ridiculous black knife assassins and the archers when lighting the torches to open the way. Currently on third play through, would be nice to defeat Malenia without cheese tactics. She's insanely difficult with the constant aggression, healing when you block and Scarlett rot. Looking forward to seeing your build guide and will implement it in either a new play through or NG+. Really interested for your upcoming videos, thank you for sharing your knowledge of Elden Ring. Good vid. Math over wishful thinking. I gave up at level 498. Just did not have the patience any more. Now I just start new characters each time. At the end of the day, the game is a loot gathering game with combat walls to break through to get more loot. Once I get everything, and I have, there is no motivation any more. Nice vid. Subbed. I figured people may want to know what the actual numbers were, since the space is inundated with videos that promise millions of runes, but don't caveat it with the fact they are in NG+7. 100% it's very much a loot based combat RPG (easily the greatest I've played) and not much changes, and not for nothing but I stopped playing for a while after collecting everything in the game and around level 515 in NG+. Now that the DLC has a hard date, my interest is back, and I'm headed into a new play-through so I can stop the character right before turning over to NG+. If I've learned anything from Dark Souls 3, it's that Fromsoftware DLC's are not forgiving, and I'll never forget sweating a little bit when the Sister Freida fight went into a 3rd phase. At the end of the day, you can either beat the game (I haven't) legitimately (without excessive looting), or you can loot and rune-farm your way there to beating the game (I haven't, lol). Above all, you WILL have to beat a number of bosses to beat the game :)

If you can get the death rite bird to fall off a ledge and get deaths poker, it kills the dragon faster.

@Auxik 100% Correct, and it works perfectly in combination with the torch. It’s an ingenious way to bring down the dragon that was devised by Titus who puts out some extremely accurate and clean presentations as far as ER content goes. You can get 3 Dragon rotations out with that method in around 3 minutes and 30 seconds. I just went with the common bleed method for New Players to the game in 2024 that can either start with a low grade bleed weapon, or pick up an early game bleed weapon easily. Thanks for the comment! I'm considering a "passive" run, just for fun. One where I won't kill a single enemy with any direct action of my own, but I'll still use in-game summons (no summoning other players) and Spirit Ashes. So if gravity takes care of an enemy, all the better. I doubt I'll be able to 100% everything and probably won't have any luck with some of the later game side bosses like Placidusax or Malenia, but the rest of the game should be a ton of fun.

I also prefer to farm the groups of Albinaurics further down the hill. Just hitting the large group circling the big tree, and then the area where there's another 8-10 of them (many are underneath the liquid and pop up when you get close) will get you almost triple what is just on the hill (I hit the four on the next section down all the time as well, and you can pick up another 10 of them at the bottom of the hill (2) and in three small alcoves. Admittedly, this isn't quite as effective from a time stand point, but it feels less repetitive overall in my opinion than running up, spamming the Waves of Gold AoW, taking another 25 steps up and hitting it again to get everything on the hill right by the grace. On NG+ with the Scarab, it's more like 350,000 I think, but would need to test that with a 0 rune starting point to confirm.

I like to add the bird and the one wave of gold and reset, gotten pretty good at aiming just right to hit the bird. NG+5 the bird is almost 30k I'm currently lvl 361

Don’t forget the overkill mechanic can get you even more runes on the hill method, if you do enough damage when you kill an enemy you get bonus runes. So full build around Sacred Relic Sword and max it out for more runes

My friends kept telling me about the birds but explained nothing and I haven't seen anyone actually explain it. I bought this forever ago and absolutely hated it and when the DLC came out decided to try again because my friends are all over it again, even though we are on different systems and can't actually play together. I just do the mohg farm with sacred relics waves of gold ability over and over, but it's getting difficult to get more levels in ng+ I get around 7k runes per enemy it kills with golden scarab and gold fowl foot. I get around 70k runes per 15 secs or so haven't counted but I did count it takes around 14 runs for the gold pickled fowl foot to run out which gives around 1.2mil runes. Did it around 105x and only got enough for 16 levels lol, at 287 now

At Lenne's Rise, as you get the 1952 runes, press map->Y/triangle->A/X twice. This will quickly put you right back at the site of grace you last rested at, and saves a couple of seconds in itself.

@azalea_k Fast Travel does work good without feet, so if you weren’t using them, fast travel works out. If you want to farm a ton of feet before Shadow drops, I put out a video shortly after this one that covers all the Rune Boost mechanics in the game, and some good farming spots for feet. What level should I be to start and finish everything to even get to the bird?

@lapdgamblefails Comfortably, level 45-50 should be more than enough if you are new to the game. If you want to know what I would do if I was new to the game and wanted a complete playthrough experience; I’d grab level 45 with either the ball or dragon farm. Then I’d Clear up Stormveil, and Kill Godrick. Then I’d head into Liurnia to advance the Varré quest at the Rose Church. Invade other players 3 times (since traveling to Altus Plateau prematurely advances a bunch of side quest stories). Grab the cloth and head to the 4 Belfry’s. Beat the grafted Scion in the Chapel of Anticipation, soak the cloth, and then head to Mogwhyn’s Palace and farm the bird. After leveling to whatever level I wanted, I’d go back and easily clear everything in Limgrave, WP, Caelid, and Liurnia. Once everyhing in those areas were mopped up and I was satisfied I’ve completed everything, then I’d head up to Altus. The thing about using the NPC invasion method to advance Varres quest is that, traveling to Altus Plateau advances a handful of side quests like the Blaiid and Alexander’s quest. Hope that helps! People will say, “well if you keep falling you get more”, sure if you want to add another 20-30seconds onto it, and the second Rune dump is small. The Bird beats them every-time mid game. And there are tons of people who say they get 500k per fall, yes sure you do in NG+3 and NG+4 etc. (but you get more for the bird in NG+ as well so it’s relative). And 100% the Return on Investment for arrows is huge. I’m in the middle of trying to Rune farm a character to max in the first play-through to show the actual time it would take (super-long lol) and then I’ll do a few videos on some Max level play against NG+ Bosses lol. The Hoarfrost stomp Ash works as a semi decide replacement for the legendary great-sword on the hill clear part. It's nowhere near as quick, but I probably pulled in 1M runes in just under an hour last night (with a couple of deaths due to sloppiness)... You do NOT need arrows. Use Rock Sling spell. Zero cost! If you don't have the 18 Int needed to use it, you should be able to raise your int that far with items. Of course arrows are cheap compared to all the runes you get, but with Rock Sling, you don't have to spend any time shopping for arrows at all.

First of all, congrats on the video, it is awesome. However, I must point out you are not taking into consideration a very important step when comparing the bird farm method with the glitch jumping one, which is farming to make the Gold Pickled Fowl Foot. It will take at least 1 hour and a half to farm those birds foot to craft 60 of them and half of it for make 31. Só, at the end, 60 runs in the bird method will not grant you more runes compared with the glitch jumping without that golden foot item.

I’ll have to run the numbers with just the scarab and compare them both that way as well, since the scarab is a constant variable that can be applied to both methods. I can also take into account the average times the jump is made and the times the jump is failed/missed. I’d still be willing to bet the bird is more consistent in terms of RPM and RPH. works every time, I did it 10 times in a row with the dragon, just made sure I was on my mount near the very end of her health and swung the flail till I seen her last bleed and she shivers then you run immediately to the grace and bam, more points to level up with. @oneassassin So you’ll need to pick up a Celestial Dew (one can be found on a corpse leaning against the inner side of the Raya Lucaria Academy locked gate). Then go to the church of Vows in Liurnia of the Lakes, and you’ll be able to use it to ask for absolution at the statue, that should reset Varré back to friendly again. Hope that helps! Once you do the Varre quest and unlock a quick way to Mohgwyn’s palace, the bird farm will get you to level 150 pretty quick. These are all the farms I use to power level characters up. The dragon is pretty tricky so I’d upload your save data to the cloud or put it on a thumb drive before attempting it so you can load it back up if the dragon dies for good. @aaronthepagan4876 Thanks for the comment Aaron. The fastest way is to upgrade the weapon using somber smithing stones to +10. That should be sufficient to clear the hill with 1 swing. If you want to increase the damage further to try and get the overkill bonus, you can increase your faith for additional damage. Hope that helps! I think I have seen a few shows on the best rune farm. Some use the idea that I use however, I have refined it further. There are a few requirements and #1 is The Starscourge Great sword and a Talisman that raises attack power with successive attacks. , which I think was actually made for the starcaller cry. From the Palace Approach Ledge-Road site of grace you begin your run. Btw, the roar medallion is very helpful here too. Pop fowl foot and start at the bottom right in front of the E.T. by the hedge. Do the full two hits then head back up to the closest one to the grace in the center. The reason for doing it this way is that it gives you a far greater chance of wiping out the dart throwing E.T.'s which also yield more runes per kill. If you are powerful enough, you may only need to hit the last target with one hit instead of two. This is a first playthrough farm, the fancy sword that some show taking out the whole bunch (the Sacred Relic Sword) with one swing does not come until the end of the game. The last point is the time math. With the one swing sword in one minute nets around 190,000 runes. I did my run with the duration of the fowl foot which lasts about 3 minutes. In comparison, in one minute I collect about 104,000 runes. Final words, in reality the only new thing I am suggesting is that you start your run at the bottom.

I did some math on a bunch of different methods, and Roar Medallion, Dragon Communion Seal, and Dragon Rot Incantation really clears out the hill in a few breaths. @vincereese2997 I just saw that one recently as well. Titus puts out some very clean, extremely accurate and informative videos. And the deaths poker method is pretty ingenious. As far as numbers go, depending on what weapons you use (weapons that build bleed faster, deaths poker method etc.) you can vastly bring that time down, so you could get in 2 runs every 3:20 instead of just 1. @vincereese2997 No worries Vince, I’m checking out the timing now, got into the weeds doing some “NG+” math for another person who had a comment, and they were saying you get 1 Million per Jump glitch in NG+, because they saw it in a video. (In NG+1 at most the glitch is 396,585 every 2 min, and the bird still beats it). I Mil isn’t NG+ numbers……it’s more like NG+7 numbers. The rampant (repeated) rune glitch click bait promises have caught a hold of people. I literally just saw one where a guy jumps up a cliff face, and runs all the way back to where the tree jump cliff is and jumps off….it blows my mind lol.

Greyoll farm is the only thing I can see being more efficient than the blood palace hill.

@vincereese2997 It does change the numbers quite a bit, since in 3 minutes and 30 seconds on average you can get 3 Dragon Kills in at 50k each with no rune boost running, which was 150k in 3 minutes 30 second. The method is 100% solid. The only drawback is I couldn’t get the bird to jump off the cliff for some reason, so instead I jumped down from where the Dragon was and ran to the cliffs above the bird and just killed it from range. Hope that helps!

@matthewjerome1546 There is also an insane crafting glitch in Skyrim that allows you to create insanely overpowered items if you alter between alchemy boosting enchanted equipment and enchantment boosting alchemy. It really made the game no fun when you could take out a dragon with 1 swing, and never take any damage. Every piece of armor I made had over 40k AC, Increased Health by 400k and Stamina regenerated at like 100k% lol. So I totally get where you’re coming from. Imo Rune farming doesn’t trivialise or take away from the experience, you could beat the game at level 1, or at Level 200, just depends on your skill level, but either way you still have to work for it. I mainly use it as an easy way to power level to that RL 125-150 mark which is optimal for most of the builds I like running. Sure you could go crazy and level to around RL 350-400 which will give you a bigger edge, but you could still get killed even at that level by some of heavy hitting bosses without the skill to back up you’re level. @EZ1977 If you’re build revolves around Arcane, you can grab the Dragon communion seal from Fringe Folk Hero’s Grave, The Roar Medallion, and Rot Dragon Breath works pretty well to clear the hill too. @EZ1977 So the video I’m working on now is an early game Dex/Arcane build (with enough faith to run buffs) with dragon breath. So if you use rot breath with the dragon communion seal, with roar medalion, golden vow (on dagger), and howl of shabriri (which you can get away with using with a 23 faith if you have faith knot tear in physick), you can clear the hill in 2 Breaths. Makes farming the hill without the sword pretty easy. And since the Dragon communion seal scales with arcane, every time you level up arcane (especially if your communion seal is Upgraded to S-Teir) your damage will increase. The Communion seal has an initial soft cap of 45 which is pretty awesome. And Ekzykes Decay dragon breath works even better.

I've recently started working on raising my faith. With Talisman active it's currently at 23. I started trying out the Blasphemous Blade last night. If you need a boost in faith you could always grab the Faithknot tear from the Weeping peninsula, and throw it into your wonderous physick until you level your faith a bit.

@scendepuydt9234 So I didn’t have alter my build drastically. I just pushed the sword up to +10 and increased my faith enough to where one swing took care of the hill. The wave scales primarily off faith, so as you increase faith, you increase the damage of the wave. Hope that helps. Thanks for the comment, and Good Hunting out there!

I wanted to try the jump glitch one with the white tree just to see it for myself, but I couldn't for the life of me make that jump! (I went into it with a ton of runes on me, too, stupidly. Oh, well. I'll farm them back.) So that one is not only inefficient, but stupidly difficult. I've seen videos showing doing the albinauric hill with Mohg's Sacred Spear or other weapons, but I've tried that and all my other spells and weapons, and I've tried clearing the hill and just hitting the top few and quickly going back to the grace. For me at least, the bird is still faster than all of them! But there's a jump farm that's TWICE as fast as the bird farm! It's the one at Ordina, Liturgical Town. Try it! Run it a few times -- site of grace, run up the stairs, jump, get the runes, fast travel to grace, repeat. I generally don't use fowl feet, as this would go through a lot of them; just the golden scarab is enough for me. Time this and get an average runes per time period, and compare to the bird farm. I got a bit over 33,500 runes/minute with the bird farm, and just under 66,000 runes/minute with Ordina, Liturgical Town jump farm. Ordina it is for me, from now on! Bird farm early-to-mid game, but once you get to Consecrated Snowfield, Ordina is much better.

@AngiLong Thanks for the comment Angi, it’s appreciated. So I’ve covered a lot of Rune farms over the years, even all the jump glitches that still work as well (even though I’m not big on the whole Rune glitch thing). One thing you could try if you wanna farm the Hill early without the sacred relic sword, you could use Dragons Rot breath with the Dragon communion seal around +5 (+6 if you kill the Sellia Crystal tunnel boss for the somber stone), and the Roar Medallion from the limgrave tunnels. That clears the hill pretty well with a few breaths (around 45 Arcane should do). Thanks again for the comment, see you in the DLC, and as Always….Good Hunting!

​@mid40sgamer I have tried many different weapons on that hill, including dragon breaths, and there are a few that do clear it with a few attacks, but none result in a rune farm anywhere near as fast as just killing the bird with rock sling. I do like testing out new weapons on the albinaurics, though. And the farm I'm using for runes now, that for me, at least, is faster than the bird, is the jump at Ordina, Liturgical Town. It gets me runes faster and it's also nice that while I'm falling and just clicking to swing my sword every so often, I can also use the time to read or watch videos. :)

@hoisdisguy7400 Unfortunately if you killed Varré and the Dragon there aren’t any other real comparable spots that are easy. The only other option I can think of is killing Vulgar Militiamen in Greyolls Dragon Barrow near the Farum Great Bridge Site of Grace. You can just run loops in that area if you can kill them quickly, it’s decent for Runes. Depending on how much you’ve done so far, it may be worth it (power level wise) to spin up another playthrough, and not kill Varré (or the dragon). Sorry I don’t have better news for you; stay safe out there, and as Always…. Good Hunting!

Haven't run the numbers, but if you go to the dragonbarrow fork site of grace and head up the hill towards the minor erdtree there are a bunch of tree guardians (can't remember the exact name, guys with spears). If you're a magic/incantations user they are REAL easy to farm and only take a couple minutes. I think with the golden scarab I was getting about 28k every run. Not the most efficient, especially if you're melee (can take longer to kill them) but it works midgame.

While not able to be utilized more than once, I still like abusing the glitches for both the Night's Cavalry by Lenne's Rise and Flying Dragon Greyll (also located in Caelid as mentioned). Most of us know the abuse for the Night's Cavalry to get it to jump off the bridge, and you can just lure FDG to the other end of the bridge and make it trigger the jump/fall animation, which will kill it almost instantly. I think this gets you about 200,000 runes, which also isn't bad for not actually having to fight anything up front.

@Sapphic288 If you head into murkwater cave in Limgrave, you can either kill Patches and take his Bell Bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks so you can purchase the Missionaries Cookbook Vol 2 (to make an unlimited amount), or fight him to half heath and he’ll give up and. The bad news is that it’s through a portal that’s within the Consecrated Snow Fields, which is a late game area. So the only way to get there early, is to go through Varre’s quest. On that first method with the ball, you don't use the bridge with the dragon on it to reach Lenne's Rise. You have to take a different bridge just east of that one.

The path to the east is filled with poison traps (and don’t take the easy path at night because bridge is guarded by Night’s Cavalry). That being said I just outlined the most direct route which is a quick ride past the dragon, make a left through the small graveyard and jump down onto the spirit spring next to Lenne’s Rise (since it’s the fastest way). Would you believe i found the big bird farm on my own the first month the game came out? LMAO. So i get there right.. Im just looking over the cliff and I see this big ole bird there. I didn’t think nothing of it.. Im like, “Ill get to you soon big boy”. But I died on the way there. So i respawn and I’m so mad Im all like “Ok im gunna shoot this thing in the butt cruise im mad!” I shoot it in the butt while its walking and it turns and runs right over the cliff. And Im all like “There’s no way i can recreate that. That has to be a 1 in a million bug or something.” But then I tried it again, and again, and AGAIN. Like clockwork. I was so excited i got on the internet to see if anyone else found it and sure enough there was like 5 recent videos from weeks before that had that farm in it. But he s! like the man said “It is pound for pound the best farm in the game” and im so glad to see this video was made a month ago and it still works! Two years ago when Elden Ring came out I pre ordered this game not because it was a fromsoft game like many others did, but because I was addicted to open world games. I can’t tell you how much i got my butt beat in this game as a noob to souls-like games. But I beat it using allot of cheeses LOL.. But when i beat it i find out that there is close to a dozen souls and souls-like games so I vowed to play them all. And I did! All the Dark Souls games, demon souls, Bloodbourne, Sekiro, mortal shell and over the past month I’ve been finishing Lies of P and Lords of the Fallen. I know I’m forgetting some but you get the gist. Now that I’m a FromSoft veteran I’ve come back to the game that started it all! And it’s hilarious how easy the bosses are now. I mopped up all of the bosses with ease with barely any farming just to see how good my skills have gotten and so far the ONLY boss that gave me trouble was the crucible knight in those gaoler things. Can’t wait to see how I fair in the mid to late game bosses.

Second, I can totally believe it, there are a few odd things I came across in ER year 1, and by the time I got the video together other channels already posted it 3 times over (wish I could produce faster lol….it’ll buff out eventually). Also I can relate to the obsession with open world games, some of my favourites being Skyrim, Horizon Zero Dawn, Ghost Recon Wildlands, Witcher 3, etc. Although I will admit I get sucked into all the side quests, every time. I got sucked into Souls Games in the same way and played them all (gonna do a rerun of Sekiro, and a DS3 Ringed City run through before ER DLC launches since I’m betting Shadow of the Erdtree will up the difficulty). Really enjoyed Lies of P, it was the perfect mix of action, NPC encounters and duel stage boss fights. And the weapon customisation was a nice touch (Bone Saw with Police Baton Handle). And since you are a mid 40s gamer I am assuming (Im 42) then we most likely grew up in the same era, im gunna give you a pro piece of info only a few people have today from a southern gun collector thats been collecting for over 25 years. Before I could even legally own guns LOL.. When someone says “I have a desert Eagle 40cal, 357 magnum, or 9mm”. You can automatically assume that any Desert Eagle in the smaller common rounds like the ones I just named aren’t Full Sized Desert Eagles. They are Baby Eagles. About the size of a Glock. Made by Magnum Research (and another company ill get into in a moment). The same company that makes the Full Sized Desert Eagles. Now back 20 years ago when the baby eagles first came out they marketed them as Desert Eagle 40 cal, Desert Eagle 9mm and so on. But that confused people with the full sized guns. So they rebranded them Baby Eagles. My screen name that is attached to my email that you are seeing was made during that time approximately 20 years ago. Before the rebranding. Now don’t get the baby eagle confused with its twin. The Jericho 941. Why they have two exact guns that have different names is up for debate. Some people say the two guys that created Magnum research got in a fight and split. One continued with the desert eagle line and the other created the Jerricho line. So just know that when you see a gun that looks like a baby eagle you need to look closer to see which one it is. A Jerricho or a Baby Eagle. Just a little pro collector tip if you ever get in a conversation with a veteran collector so they don’t get you with a gotcha question about that timeframe to see how learned you are about the firearms. :-) I did have a tiger striped 50AE desert eagle for a long while. Cost be like 3500 bucks and I only shot it like 3 times and the ammo was GD ridiculously expensive. So I sold it for a IWI Tavor x95 assault rifle and decked her out with some sights and stuff. Yeah my favorite open world games are Borderlands 1 2 and 3. Thats where I fell in love with them again. The first being ZELDA BABY! Ocarina of Time in like the late 90s. Then like The Witcher 3 and those Shadows of Mordor games. I never got to play skyrim and theres another game just like it that i never played. Its on the tip of my tongue. Lol.. But yea man I loved Lies of P too and i can’t wait till that Wizard of Oz DLC to come out.. Well at least thats what they teased at the end of the game. I figure they are just using the public domain to create their ideas or something lol.. But that would be AWESOME. I love how there was an element of dark noir in that game.. SO AWESOME! And my favorite weapon was the bone saw with the Mjolnir handle. Making it the longest reach in the game and the best weapon to put them into a posture for a critical strike i thought. The hardest boss being the nameless puppet LOL.. They rest of them were relatively easy. Also liked the Salamander fire dagger on the Crystal Spear handle so it has the same move set with a longer reach. Yeah man I CAN’T WAIT for the Elden Ring DLC. Thats why im playing it again right now. I missed allot of side quests and areas in my first playthrough and it was SO HARD for me to beat that I didnt do a second play through until two years later for the simple fact that it was SO GD HARD for me. So a buddy of mine, from Ogles Gaming, told me about ALLLLLL the other fromsoft and souls-like games I would want to play first to make Elden Ring more manageable. SO for the past two years I have been searching for all those types of games and after I played Lies of P and then Lords of the Fallen (best order to play them in my opinion) I was ready for Elden Ring again. So here I am.. Kicking butt and having a blast now that i know what im doing. And I can’t wait to get the dung eater summons this time. That was the summons I desperately tried to get but because I did some things wrong in the first play though it locked me out of getting him as a summons and that dude is a BEAST. I want him lol. But i do like how the skeleton summons can keep being reborn lol.. The majority of bosses and places where you can call a summons do not know you need to finish them off while they are on the ground so they just keep respawning over and over lol. I love it! Never knew that in my first play though! LMAO!! Sorry for talking your ear off LOL.. I just don’t have many folks to talk games with.. Here in Florida its all about fishing, hunting, riding four wheelers, camping and shooting. They just think they are too MACHO for video games and I just laugh at them and tell them they aren’t smart enough, coordinated enough or good enough to play the games I play like the souls games we have been talking about. You have to be a pretty good gamer to play these games or you will get stuck at a gatekeeper boss and never progress further than that LOL.. I even let my buddies try some bosses out sometimes and watch as they epically fail each and every time. Before they tell me “only nerds play video games”. And I tell them that at least my brain wont turn into mush before yours! Because video games keeps the brain sharp. No wonder im always out smarting them in certain areas LOL.

@desertegle40cal You and a friend I work with would immediately get along (and likely go back and forth for hours) since he literally knows everything (everything) when it comes to firearms (talked me into taking the Ruger armorers course…and the Colt one). But a wealth of knowledge when it comes to anything firearm related. So I may blind side him with the knowledge you shared. I played all the borderlands game as well, and picked up the Handsome Jack collection, loved the Critical Conference Call (mine was an acid one) and I spent a lot of time Cheesing the slot machines with a glitch I found. All in all, loved the series and the Badass Crater of Badassitude DLC intro (I still look up the clip now and again because it’s hilarious). Can’t wait for the DLC either, and I’m hoping (and predicting) that this DLC will be comparable difficulty wise to DS3’s The Ringed City. It’s why I’m just staging 2 non-NG+ characters in Mogwyn’s palace (Lvl 150, Lvl 512 so far lol) with all the best items I can grab in a single Playthrough, since all DLC content should follow the scaling of NG+ Level. One for the legit playthrough and one to just walk all over the DLC for exploring etc. Literally all my friends Hunt and fish, have 4-wheelers or side by sides too but they play video games as well, they just like FPS games, and when I play online those are the games I play Coop (playing Baldurs Gate 3 Coop, but it takes forever). After being in the Infantry for 20 years, I can tell you first hand I’ve known some of the most “Macho” dudes….play games (even Open world RPGs); so don’t let your buddies blow smoke in your direction. @@mid40sgamer Hey, did you say you had 20 years of infantry under your belt? Are you a military veteran too? I was in the Navy for 5 years. Was attached to the USS Carl Vinson and USS John C Stennis Aircraft carriers as an Aviation Structural Mechanic. And one thing i loved about being in the military was how diverse it was. You could literally find someone in your command who did literally ANYTHING you do. Play videos games, hike, go skiing, camping or just heading to LA for a weekend to party. So I had my buddies id play video games with and buddies id go camping fishing and skiing with. But i always thought it was weird they never gave out hunting licenses. But we were in CA so that might of been the problems. I was stationed at the Lemoore CA Navy air base. Right outside of Fresno and only an hour and a half from fresh powder in the winter and loads of hiking and camping in the summer. CA was fun to be stationed at. Lots of things to do even though our base was in the middle of nowhere in a desert lol.. Man did you bring up a blast from the past. THE CONFERENCE CALL. I remember before they nerfed that thing it was literally an impossible beast. The way it hit you from all sides was the most awesome gimmick in the game. I had all renditions of that weapons because, i farmed just about every single awesome or unique weapon every single time a new game came out. So there wasn’t a legendary weapon I didn’t have multiple versions of lol.. I would look for glitches and cheeses too. But I never truly knew what a CHEESE actually was until i started playing Elden Ring. The first fromsoft game i ever experienced and if it wasn’t for Tyrannicon gaming I would have never beat it LOL.. But Borderlands was the first time I learned of what FARMING was. Because I would beat bosses over and over just to try and get a specific SUPER RARE drop. SO I always had multiples of the same weapon lol. And in the first and second borderlands there was the dashboard glitch you could use. Because the saves were only when you entered or exited an area. So i would fight a boss, see what they dropped and if it wasn’t anything I wanted I would dashboard the game and reload it and the boss would be back.. I would do that over and over until I got the weapon I wanted. In the second Borderlands game they then made that machine that could pop out legendary weapons if you put in the right stuff. Except this time they made it so the game would save if you picked up a weapon but it would only save the weapon to your inventory and not the entire game. So you could dashboard the game and the items you used would be reset and you’d STILL get the weapon you made. Not sure if this was a glitch or something they added on purpose but it was AWESOME. I hardly ever used any weapons that weren’t legendaries LOL.. Man that was a blast. But I got issues with this last rendition. They made the bosses WAY too hard and without and scaled them to be impossible without a specific weapon that was more of an accident than it was on purpose. To farm weapons you need to go to the arena but the bosses were just way to overpowered scaling off your character and many bosses had impossible shields that didn’t respond to electricity like the two prior games did. If a boss had a shield, even if you had the WEAKEST electric elemental gun and the boss had a HUGE shield bar, the electricity would chew up that shield no matter now weak it was. But now in the new one it seems they just don’t respond to electricity like they used to. Made the game impossible to beat and even if you were a high level the bosses would just scale up with you and become harder. And I am a good gamer, I can hold my own but if im fighting a boss for 20 or 30 minutes just to get his shield down then that is just tedious and not fun at all. Sorta lost hope that the Borderlands Series would get any better. But they had their hay day and here’s hoping they wise up LOL.. I subscribed to your channel BTW. @desertegle40cal Sure did, and I’ve worked with the Navy on a few different deployments, even my last one. I really liked the MSRON guys, they were good group. My take aways from them were; Never Call a Seabee “Shipmate”, and they educated me on what a “Shellback” meant. You are right, working with so many different people you could find a lot of alignment with the things you like to do, and never a shortage of people to go out for a beer or 20. Borderlands wore thin here too, a lot of time was spent farming and re- downloading save game data cheesing, just to find the weapons you wanted. As far as content the next video is still under production, since I took 2 weeks to really learn Adobe After effects, in order to bring a fun cinematic experience to gaming guides. Plugging away at it in my free time and it looks like I should be able to push it out this weekend if my computer compiles it (don’t have the greatest computer for rendering lol, one day though). @markforsey547 Sure thing Mark, so if the ball doesn’t fall sideways off the cliff, and it goes straight you won’t get the runes. So when you make that bottom turn, just slow down slightly near the cliff edge and then hit the gas. The ball will track your location near the cliff and then it will cruise off the cliff sideways and give you the runes. Hope that helps! Stay safe out there Tarnished, and as Always…Good Hunting!

So, I’ve done it a few ways, some playthroughs with no farming, a playthrough with a little bit of farming here and there, and a metric ton of farming to make me virtually indestructible. @raymondhernandez4120 Thanks for the comment Ray, I think I can help direct you via comment section; From the Dynasty Mausoleum site of grace, jump off the near edge to the North East and then hop on torrent and ride as fast as you can to the Northeast and then slowly turn to the east until you reach the blood pond. Then head south following the zone wall on your left all the way up to the Palace Approach Ledge site of Grace. Hope that helps. Good Hunting out there!

@berzgaming1039 Bird and Hill still work, but All jump glitches in the game were patched when DLC Launched. Hope that helps. Good Hunting out there!

If in the first method, you teleport to the grace instead of running to it, you save about 10 seconds per run. And in the sleeping dragon one, second time I did it I got no runes, so I thought it was patched... =(

Yes you could fast travel back to the grace if you like, that is a technique, just keep in mind that as soon as you fast travel it removes the effects of the pickled fowl foot if you’re using one. As far as the dragon, she still works as a Rune farm, just make sure you back up you’re saved data to the cloud incase you don’t get back to the grace in time and she dies for good. It is called grinding for a reason, plus I like using the bolt of gransaxx for that last farm.

not sure why people not realize this, instead of running back to grace just load your map and teleport. waaaaay faster

@Stupendousboy Teleporting is way faster however, when you fast travel you lose the effects of the GPFF. So if you aren’t running GPFF you’ll save a few seconds per run. Thanks for the comment, and Good Hunting out there.
