This is an Irish Whiskey with a history dating back to 1782. Located in the heart of the Golden Triangle, the historic distilling district of the city of Dublin.
Teeling's Small Batch consists of hand selected casks which are given further maturation in ex-Rum barrels imparting an extra sweet, smooth and slightly woody flavour unique to Irish Whiskey. Renowned for their vision in doing things differently, Teeling bottles this small batch at 46% with no chill filtration, creating an Irish Whiskey of true character.
$70 AUD (on special) 700ml 46% ABV, triple distilled, non-chill filtered.
Tasting Notes:
Floral and herbal, with hints of vanilla, rum raisin notes, and all spice. Creamy vanilla sweetness, with a dried fruit, raisin and apricot character and slight tingling spice. Long, warming finish with lingering sweetness, spice, and oak notes.
