Discover the Kipdorp site in the heart of Antwerp

From 2017-2019 archeaologist escavated the remnants of the Spanish fortifications of the 16the century. They are being brought to light again during the construction of Antwerp’s new Noorderlijn tram line. Tunnels are being dug by the Opera building for the

The greathest loss for antwerp was the destruction of the brailmont fortifications for the construction of the antwerp highway, the same highway thats now under debate to cover it because of co2 norms, only small parts remained it could have been antwerps central park and green zone the people of antwerp ask for in modern times.
