Discover the North!!! - Lanzarote

We journey North through the extraordinary landscape of Lanzarote to visit the ancient capital Teguise. After exploring the wonderful Casa-Museo del Campasino we called at Haria, the capital of the Municipality, characterised by beautiful landscapes, crystal clear waters and a stunning view over The Valley of a Thousand Palms. Mirador de los Helechos gave us the most spectacular view point where we were able to see the villages of Punta Mujeres and Arrieta.
The artist Cesar Manrique turned what was once a water hole in the earths surface into an inspiring volcanic cavern and exotic subterranean water garden, Jameos del Agua. We follow the spiral stairs into an amazing roofless cavern overlooking an underground lake. See if you can spot the tiny, blind white crabs that live in the perfectly transparent waters. A meandering path leads us to the surface where we were greeted by a magical glistening crystal blue pool and much more!
