Discover the Power of Thor's Hammer with SOLIDWORKS Simulation

This week marks the release of Thor: Ragnorak, the highly anticipated 17th entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Ever since the first trailer dropped back in April many of us around the office have been counting down the days till we finally would be able to see what is next in store for the God of Thunder.
Well let's just say I couldn't wait that long. Lucky for me there is SOLIDWORKS Simulation, a fantastic tool for testing your design performance in both linear and non-linear dynamic settings. So if it can test the accurate behavior of a bicycle gear or a car suspension, it certainly could be used to test one of the most fearsome and powerful weapons in the Marvel universe right? This is a great example of how a good study means little with poor initial information. Yes thors hammer is made from the heart of a dying star but that weight actually is only relevant if the magic of the hammer allows the object act as if it had that mass. This becomes a problem because the rule of whether it has it's weight or not is whether they are worthy to wield it or not which is just vague enough to argue that because she used to own the hammer and Odin never said things like you are no longer worthy ( why thor couldn't use it for a while) it may weigh just as much as it does to anyone which really isn't much as even for characters with immense strength they wield it one-handed without any noticeable effort
