Discover the Secret Features of Our New Vango Caravan Awning

This our first Vango Awning for a caravan and so far we are very happy with it
The Vango Balletto Air 260 awning is a popular caravan awning designed to provide extra living space for your caravan.
We decided to go with a smaller awning as there is only 2 of us the Abbey our dog, so there really is no need for a huge awning. Although they do come in 3 sizes.
The Vango Balletto 260 is an inflatable air awning designed to provide additional living space and shelter for your outdoor adventures. It is made with durable materials and features Vango's AirSpeed valve system for quick and easy inflation.
The Balletto 260 has a generous size of 260cm wide by 250cm deep, making it suitable for use with caravans, motorhomes, and campervans. It has a tunnel design with two side doors for easy access and ventilation. The awning also comes with a sewn-in groundsheet to keep you protected from the elements.
Additionally, the Vango Balletto 260 features large windows for plenty of natural light and a scenic view. The windows are equipped with curtains for privacy when needed. It also has multiple attachment points and pre-attached kador strips, allowing for a secure and hassle-free installation.
The zip up curtains make thins easier too no need for dropping curtains the fold away when not needed and when you want a little privacy just zip round.
Overall, the Vango Balletto 260 air awning is a versatile and practical addition to your outdoor setup, providing you with extra space and comfort during your camping trips.
There are also many extras that come with the awning instead of buying them individually on top of the awning cost.

Thanks for watching our review of our new awning. We have to admit this is probably the best awning we have ever bought and we have had a few over the years. We have found with this one it is totally enclosed allowing Abbey to be free when in the awning rather than on her lead. It is quick and easy to inflate the air beams making the whole experience of putting up the awning so much quicker. I was so impressed with your review, I’m collecting a 2nd hand one tomorrow from preloved awnings, some nice little tips but most of all your confidence in the draft seal system where most people have not liked it , I personally like the zipped curtains Can’t wait to collect and use next year I’ll be buying annex for my growing son Let me know what you think of the annex if you decided to get one 😊

@phillpate8735 for us this is the best awning we have had. We like the draft seal system, it proved itself in 45mph wind when we were at Barnard Castle. If we get the annexe we will do a review although we are not planning on it at the moment. If you get one we would be interested in what you think of it, also would love to know how you get on with the awning. Ours will be up at Christmas when we are away for the week. @@dougmackie4833 in the past we have always had Kampa awnings. This time we decided to try something different this is much lighter and comes with so many additional things such as the awning skirt and wheel cover. Yes everything you see came as standard. The quality is very good. We are at this moment sat in the awning in pouring rain and everything is totally dry. We have had no issues at all.

That looks great .. I like the idea of no poles against the caravan .. do the windows zip down on the awning ?

Thank you for your comment. We have found it much better with no poles and if the awning is placed over a window the pads fit snugly around it. If you look closely at each panel there is a strip of white beading in there there are zips which come from each end of the panel showing if you want to just open the top part you can. The two end panels can be removed completely if you want to do that and the two middle panels can be opened and rolled up and fastened to the central beam. Hope this helps 😊

On the two extra air tubes you should mount them with the inflation valves pointing downwards so they don't rub against the awning roof.

It’s a shame when it gets a slight leak and you can’t find it.

Never had that problem but there are lots of individual pipes that can be isolated to help you in this situation and then repaired with the kit provided

Not really a fan of air awnings because when I see other people's they always seem to be deflated. It'll be interesting to see how you get on with this one.

We have always had air awnings. I think you have to make sure they are fully inflated to the correct psi otherwise they will look deflated. The psi depends on the outside temperature too as to how much you need. I will post updates in a few months as to how this one is doing as it is the first Vango one we have had 😊
