Great Vid.... so was the next one on Hunting Island. I was stationed at Beaufort in the early/mid eighties while in the Marine Corps. I love love love Beaufort, not only for the beautiful town and surrounding area that is, but also all of my memories from when I was stationed and lived there with my wife (now ex) and our first child, who was born at the Beaufort Hospital out in town and spent his first 2 years of life there. Awesome Memories. Thanks for the video. :D

The house you mentioned being built in 1810 is actually Secession House, where many discussions/meetings were held in the mid 1850s about SC seceding from the Union. Also, you missed Robert Smalls’ house & grave, which is just a short walk from this house.

What date(s) did you film this video? My wife and I were in Hilton Head, for the first time, last March and then drove to Charleston before flying home. Wish I had seen your video before taking that trip as we would have taken your advice and spent some time in Beaufort.
