So…the spiritual family splashed on trees for their own “paradise”….what did they do to alleviate the horrible, really execrable, condition of the poor in Britain?? Because that message is everywhere in the New Testament, isn’t it? Think what could have been had Gibbs inspired likeminded filthy rich men to turn the lives of the common folk into small, very minor domestic paradises. And that message resounds to this very day.
