As a logical person I say, pure bliss to argue with someone who uses a quote from a book of fairy tales based on very few if any facts. You sound like a devoted little sheep though, so good for you. Extremely annoying that the drive mode needs to be reset EVERY SINGLE TIME you get back into the car - also, no single pedal driving mode option - these are deal breakers for me - address these issues and I may buy one as a around the town car - my long distance vehicle would be a Tesla with auto pilot, much longer range, and an excellent car charging network

Not having at least one mode for one pedal driving was the main reason I didn't buy a Taycan. Very poor. I don't want it to feel like an ICE car, I want it to feel like an EV. There's no reason to have to move my foot to the brake for almost all regular road driving. It's a Porsche, give drivers the choice about how they want to drive the car, don't constrain it. Was a great car otherwise. Swapping the CCS location to the other side of the car in RHD was another stupid decision.
