We love the Will Rogers State Park. We have been many times and always enjoy every visit. There is so much history there plus all the other things to do with the hiking and horses. 3 on the tour....wow you can't beat that. To us it is one of our best kept State Parks. Very good video. As I write this you have one more to reach 1000 and I want to be the first to say congratulations.

You should check out the Will Rogers museum in OK -- if they have the same film with him doing the rope tricks, you should check that out. He was pretty amazing!

Thank you! Yeah, the views at the park were great! I actually do have the required watch hours, which is a big surprise! I thought getting 1k subs would be the easy part, and I never expected to get 4k watch hours. But it's turned out to be the exact opposite. I'm pretty stoked about getting monetized (although I know it's going to be miniscule $$ for a while!). The downside is that I won't be able to do any national parks if I'm monetized. If you are a commercial filmmaker -- monetization with YT counts -- then the permit process is the same for 1 person with a gopro as it would be for Steven Spielberg: paid permit (that's okay), $50/hour ranger during the shoot (ummmm....), and $1 million liability insurance policy (hard no). So that's kind of a bummer, but it is what it is.

I had another channel before this one for 5 years (it fell flat), & I've had this one for 3 years. So I have a few more years of experimenting to find things that work. And you consistently get more views than I do! You'll get there! KZbin is definitely a marathon.

Sometimes when ghost hunting with an audio recorder you will recognize the voice you captured. Don't believe me. Bring one with you and ask direct questions while recording and play it back. The volume all the way up and headphones are helpful in hearing. You should try all over the park even in the stables.

I didn't realize that the park & stables were haunted - I definitely want to try this. When you say I will recognize the voice, do you mean it's someone I know? Or like a celebrity voice, since lots of celebrities visited Will Rogers?
