Hello Noura! Happy to hear your signature term -1942! Brings a smile to my face anytime you say it in Italian! Not much of a gourmand girl, but I have my moments. La Danza delle libellule extrait is on my wishlist, and I have sampled the original. I also prefer perfumey gourmands to photorealistic ones.

You have to test Cacao porcelana 16:10 on the skin and let it fully develop. Due to body heat that cacao becomes a true banger. It might pleasantly surprise you.

I already wanted to order Sora Dora's test set but I have not until now. Well I think now it is time. Do you know some other scents of that brand? My favourites of this category at the moment are Soie Malaquais from Dries van Noten (so expensive🙈! I made the mistake to go into the shop when I was in Paris this summer and came back with a sample set....oh oh! Now I have the full bottle and think of Le Jardin de l'Orangerie too), Orchidee Vanille from Van Cleef and Arpels (which is a powdery, dark chocolaty Vanille) and I am looking forward to wearing Angel's share again. Molecule 01 +Ginger is not for now but I like it sooooo much for summer! Thank you for your videos🌺, I am looking forward to seeing your favourites🙂🙋‍♀️.

I never tried any Sora Dora before, but I also am very intrigued to get the sample kit and test more. I also love Orchidee Vanille 😍 one of my favorite vanilla fragrances. I'll have to try Molecule 01 + Ginger 🤔 seems interesting. Thanks for sharing 🥰

Thanks to you I tried La Danza delle Libellule and I really liked it! I will definitely get myself a 10ml decant of the scent. Also got myself a decant of Escapade Gourmande. I enjoy your recommendations very much 😊

Thanka Noura! Not a huge dan of gourmands but I do love Gourmand Coquin & Khair Pistachio. Also, Musc Moschus is simply beautiful on skin and performance is great.

I have been wanting to try Blanche bete by liquides imaginaires, is that considered gourmand idk but from what iv heard it has a creamy lactonic vanilla smell and i love vanilla fragrances

My favourite gourmands (or perfumes with gourmand aspects) are Tabac Exquis, Bake, Arabesque, L’Amour Absolu and Sugar Leather. Will be getting a sample of Sorriso now!

Thanks for the review! Lait et Chocolat is sooo delicious, I didn't expect to like it but I really enjoy it for bedtime :) my second favourite from the house is Lait et Vanille, light & tad spicy vanilla :) I have Pop Heart on my wishlist for summer, but it is expensive so not sure if I'll pull the trigger... I was ready to blind buy Frapin 1270 for a good price but got scared that it will be too masculine. Imperial Peackok is so beautiful, but again so expensive...I am dying to try Jany!

Please test Lait et Chocolat properly and on your skin, because my initial reaction was the same as yours. Then it dried down to one synthetic mess that made me gag. To be honest, the only one I liked from Chabaud was Lait et Biscuit, and that was a basic vanilla dry down after a very nice biscuit-y opening.

I thought I did not like gourmand until I tried Royal Sugar Patchouli, Mariya and Letter de Pushkar, Woman C , Absolut Aphrodisiac. Know I now I love some gourmand. But I not like to smell like cup cake, cocktail or snack.

I also don’t really like gourmands - I’m such a floral/woody person. I ordered a bunch of samples from Jovoy, one being Santal Basmati - recommended by Jus de Rose. It’s a gourmand and I’m happy that I didn’t order the bottle (was way over 300£, if I remember correctly). I unfortunately bought an entire bottle of Tardes from Carner (also a recommendation of JdR) and I don’t like that either. I don’t understand the hype around gourmands. I like to smell feminine or sometimes fresh or sexy (depending of the occasion) but I never really feel the urge to smell like a basket of cookies lol.

I'm also not a fan of strict gourmands. I don't want to smell edible and I used not to love any sweet fragrances. Now I'm warming up to sweet fragrances, but they have to smell like a perfume.

I agree with you. I do not want to smell like something to eat, but there are some that are not too sweet and still smell like perfume.​@@mywaynoura
