Excellent video. I am learning what to do for my wry neck, just not pinpointing the cause although, I suspect no matter the ergonomics of viewing a laptop screen, that is what is hurting me. My family has a history of ankylosing spondylosis. Doc says I don't have it though he has never done any tests at all.Pain is unbearable at times and often when I turn my neck I get very dizzy and start blacking out unless I straighten my head out again. No way can I look up, it is as though someone is strangling me. I am going to get to a chiropractor because I believe that is my solution. By the way, he had tilted head again on day 2. Is that from over- use before finishing the treatment? Also, are those wisdom teeth I see in the x-ray? Jus curious. Thank you for this video.

I’m osteopathic practice and I don’t understand why you don’t work in his muscles to?! After doing the adjustment you should have done some miofascial work to his trapeze muscle, SCM muscles and ES muscle that would help a lot to improve his range of motion and when the muscles still tighten after the adjustment these muscles would pull the vertebrae again to the position prior the adjustment.

I am an osteopath too. But sometimes we have to break the rules(as per theory) , to get the best of the results. Only myofascial works best for some and only manipulation for others. And very few requires both to be done. There are alternates to everything. Osteopath can give relief to such patients by doing some visceral stuff and not even touching the spine.

If I remember correctly is mesures a temperature difference between the left and right of the spine. Because if one side has a higher temperature that means the muscle is "locked up" because it is constantly flexing.
