actually many were upset because u mention Nmixx directly, meanwhile there were some issue when NMIXX debut and claim their MIXX concept as the First music concept coming from kpop, meanwhile aespa did it first or we can say SMP did it first. Nmixx whole concept of mixing genre was decided by JYP after seeing commercial success of aespa's next level. It was one of the most successful song of 2021 in s.korea. Many started doing that trend after seeing its success. Aespa is indeed the trendsetter

@@killerkoareacts If you like "experimental", though an entirely different sound than Aespa, you might want to check out Billlie, from Mystic Story, a subsidiary of SM. They also have a big lore background: basically, on 11th day on summer a monster comes and takes you to another side of the world; their friend Billlie Love got taken, and they didn't do anything, and even lied when asked if they knew what happened to her; but later felt guilty. The MVs are all consequences of these events in different parallel universes. Their debut RINGxRING is not for everyone and not for every occasion, but it does exactly what it was meant to, and I love it so much. They added one member right after debut (who was supposed to debut with them but was on a competition show, ranking 8th, barely missing getting into Kep1er). I suggest RINGxRING, Snowy Night, and Ring Ma Bell, which should give you an idea what they do. They recently made a comeback, but had to postpone activities (due to a very public death in the family).

it's cool to see that u wanna do research bro😅 some people doesn't like this type of concept and even called them weird🤷🏻‍♀️ they're like the marvel version of kpop idol + metaverse. dictionary: MY = the fandom name, also aespa members called their avatars with "MY". æ/avatar = the digital version of yourself, each called "æ-Karina, æ-Giselle, æ-Winter, æ-Ningning", basically "æ-(member name)". FLAT = is a place where æ members live in. Naevis = the guardian of the FLAT. Black Mamba = the 1st villain they're facing, reside in KWANGYA. KWANGYA = is a place, unruled and infinite place located beyond FLAT. KOSMO = is a place, but we still don't know much about this place. SYNK = state of connection between a human and an ae.

The order should be Black Mamba, SMCU ep 1, next level, Savage, SMCU ep2, Girls, then SMCU ep3. other songs and MV is not part of the lore. You can search for aespa lore and get all the info. its too much to explain, there is a whole story, metaverse, with fascinating concepts, a lot to do with the cyberworld, and current internet trends like social media etc. Down the rabbit hole into a well-thought out , incredible world.
