End of Nightmare, Let's Go! I really like the new format. Also, sorry, I gave you a LOT of links based on what you were asking for or talking about. I wanted to provide some context on the Crossroad concert performances I've provided links to. The Crossroad concert was a two-night concert series broken into Utopia (night 1) and Dystopia (night 2). The Utopia songs were new arrangements that focused on vocals more chill instrumentals. Dystopia was the original versions of the songs and included choreo. Both were performed with a live band. The only version I could find of Over the Sky live with a band is when they performed it during their Crossroads Utopia concert. It's a medley of Full Moon and Over the Sky, so not the full song. The band is a little overpowering in the performance, but it still sounds really good, and the girls are really live. You'll see that Handong was crying, and I think this was right after she got a surprise message from her parents that they played during the concert, so she got pretty emotional. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hafReJp4eayFfqc There is a special clip for this as well. Scream may have been my first Dreamcatcher MV, but Piri was the first Dreamcatcher song I heard. It got recommended to me in a Google Play Music Supermix back in 2019. I was driving down the road and it came on. It was one of those times where you hear something, and you have to know what it is. When I got to a red light, I made sure to go back and like it...and unfortunately forgot to go back and check out more songs by them by time I got home. It was about 18 months later when I stumbled across the Scream MV, and I fell in love all over again. When I started looking at their other MVs I realized that I knew their song Piri and that it was the song I heard that day. The beautiful vocals and the funky instrumental are great. The fandom often jokes about this MV being a Salon or Hair product commercial, which you'll understand when you see it, lol. Sweet high vocals, medium range vocals that are a bit darker, and deep rapping. Daydream is another beautiful ballad-esq song from Dreamcatcher. Yoohyeon is my favorite voice in the group too. But... when Handong sings in her lower tones it's like she knows and is coming for the spot.

Gahyeon the maknae only sang for two years, and usually only smaller parts in songs, then Piri comes and * out of nowhere* you hear "unh" and get THAT Gahyeon. Imagine how surprised you would have been. Followed quickly by more raps in major title tracks Scream and Boca and we have a totally different Gahyeon these days. Piri is still a Top 3 song for me even with all of Dreamcatcher's other great stuff, Diamond and And There Was No One Left are Top 10. So yeah, this album could easily be my favorite too. Summer Holiday (the album with BEcause) is stiff competition though because Airplane, Whistle, and All Day Long are so perfect in their album order ending with a top ballad too.

That really is Dami! You're just not used to hearing her voice up as high as other members until you spend enough time in their b-sides and covers. Dami and Yoohyeon have a cover called Mood where Dami only sings and Yoohyeon does the rap; a chance to play, being Dreamcatcher they're still fantastic at it. (But Dreamcatcher's real hidden rapper is Siyeon. She's at least as good as some Main Rappers in newish groups I've seen). Not a Dreamcatcher song.
