I become emotional watching them too, purely because you can just see and feel and hear how much they love music. It warms my heart to see them loving what they do. As someone who has loved kpop for over 10 years it just makes me excited all over again for what's to come. Their passion is palpable.

the vocalist you pointed out the most and said had your heart is Huijun. and the purple haired rapper you liked is the leader Castle J. the other tall vocalist is Minjae, the shorter rapper who is always smiley is BIC, and the deep voiced rapper is the maknae Win. they are all so talented and vibrant and hilarious. MCND stand for music creates new dream. they debuted in February 2020 with ice age and they had a pre debut song produced by castle j called top gang. their fandom name is GEM. they have a bunch of dance videos both pre and post debut in addition to their normal musical content. my personal favorite is their rendition of bad guy by billie eilish. they just released a pre comeback single called W.A.T.1 and will be making a full comeback in july. thank you so much for checking them out and really appreciating their talent and skill.

MCND is really good. The way they can sing like that while dancing is something I'll never get over. Also the one with the deep voice is Win, the maknae. He was 16 when they debuted, and his voice was already like that. If it gets deeper, I don't know what to do. What's funny is the fact that I'm really over here trying to shuffle through my knowledge of five member groups to see who you're talking about. What's the tea? I feel like I already know, but at least give me the first letter.

OMGGGGGGG YES. I LOVE MCND. They are the last group that really GOT me at debut. Their dance is INCREDIBLE like TOP TOP tier 4 of 5 performed at world of dance predebut, I LOVE the vocal tones of the two main vocalists, its not often you get such nice warm tones in kpop and that's a personal favorite of mine, the leader composes most of their music INCLUDING their debut track? Their energy is UNMATCHED. BUT BEST OF ALL are their b-sides are actually FUCKING INCREDIBLE. I have kind of tried to avoid variety stuff from them because they are SUPER young and were mostly minors when they debuted and the one you mentioned having a sassy smile (minjae) has been the one that catches my eye and I felt weird about it but I think I'm going to lean in this comeback myself and consume all the things are really get to know them on a deeper level. A few things that I DID know when you mentioned them: The one you like is Huijun he is one of the main vocals. he and minjae were on a reality show called the fan predebut...then they hit puberty or something because they were FETUSES there LOL. Yuijin from ITZY, BIBI and a few other famous names were on it but I literally don't think anyone watched that show but me? lol. The one you mentioned fudging the choreo a little, with the deep voice is actually the Maknae and I think he was like 15 at debut and he has trained the shortest amount of time i think he was zero to this level in like 2 years? so makes sense he has some growth to do. The one that is a rapper and you mentioned was center a lot towards the end is Castle J, the leader. He composes and literally has more energy and passion for performing than anyone I have ever seen. In dance practices he is ALWAYS hyping everyone up. They trained a lot in LA so they have that swag and skill that tells you there is a dance focus with them.

I’m really happy that MCND kept up the company tradition of Live Practices (the first ones in kpop were by, 100%, also by TOP media). I also feel that we don’t appreciate enough how much hard work and energy they put into everything they do. They are truly a hidden gem
@candycanenee2 жыл бұрын
These are my son's 😭 I'm so proud of them tbh. They did their Europe tour this year and gained fans bc of how skilled and professional they are when they performed. They are from TOP media. As shitty as that company as, they probably have some magical training regimen because ALL of their idols have EXCELLENT breath control. Like just watch Teen Top do 3 super upbeat songs in one special stage with STABLE live vocals or UP10TION doing immortal songs LIVE dancing & singing so consistently. These kids have continued that tradition.

Damn, they messed up. The Live Practice for Nanana is more impressive than Crush(the vocals and dance are much more difficult) and the MV for Crush is better than Nanana's lol. But I loved the reaction!!!!! I love this group and they are so talented, the only thing I wish was that the company didn't poorly manage them because they had an AMAZING start in their career but Top Media kept changing their styles so much that a lot of the original hype has sadly died down. I mean their debut "Ice Age" has such a different sound and it was so good omg.

That SHINee comment take me a little bit aback because I actually had the same feeling when I just met them. I mean, I'm only a GEM and a Shawol, but I certainly know many other 5-members-bgs that... just can't be compared heh so I totally get what you're saying here. Loved the reaction! I'm happy you've liked them, MCND have so much to offer! If you want to see more of them, I personally recommend you to give a try to their 'Earth Invasion' song. They also had a video of the leader (Castle J, purple hair) directing the whole process of making it, and I think it's one of the most representative songs they have, even tho it's not that popular within the fandom. Every bit of it it's them! They didn't include the song in any album nor promote it as a comeback, but it surely can be seen as their core (at least for me). Also, to get to know them better, I recommend to see either Crazy School or GEMCND. Finally, just as a fact, MCND's leader is involved in every album's making process, either as a productor, director or lyricist and I think that should be more recognized. Castle J is, indeed, crazily phenomenal! But they all are, too. PS. sorry for the bad Eng, I'm not that fluent heh

I'm pretty sure they've said while doing morning runs/jogs, they also practice their singing, so that they can be consistent in their singing during high energy choreos/routines. MCND is definitely another level beyond rookie. When they debuted with Ice Age, their choreo was what made me go uh what. Their synchronicity was unbelievable, miles ahead of a lot of established group, imo. Their camera presence, oh my, a lot of groups do "happy smile" energy, but mcnd makes you absolutely feel that, if that makes it, kinda like KARD and their insane intense camera stares, like they're actually watching you irl, lol. MCND will be a legendary group in kpop history, for sure

in regards to personality in their variety content - oh boy do they have more than enough personality for BOTH on the stage and off 😂😂😂 so much energy and sass in everything they do, and it really shows, it's always so infectious! they're pretty crazy (most of the time) and I honestly wouldn't have them any other way ^^ their show GEMCND is always really hilarious to watch and it already has 3 seasons! they're obviously very young, so stanning them is more like following a group of younger brothers, but I like that they're still very true to themselves and IMO it does feel like they've been allowed to have fun and cater to their youthful nature even though training and working as idols is still very difficult. so it's still fun in a different way to watch them grow also I hope you can check out their most recent comeback, #MOOD, or any other recent music + content from them because you can really see how much Win, the maknae has grown over the years. he was really self conscious for a long time about catching up to the other members of the group, so he might have been a bit messy in the last practice, but he's really grown into his own kind of confident, polished performer and his technique has cleaned up right along with that improvement. I'm proud of all of them every day, but especially Win because he really exudes so much joy in what he does and I'm so happy for him!

I hope this helps: MCND, 5 member group under TOP Media. MCND stands for Music Creates New Dream. Released pre-debut single, "TOP GANG" (which you should react to) on Jan. 2nd, 2020. Debuted on Feb. 27th, 2020 with "ICE AGE" mv (which you should also react to). Their style overall are having fun and being cool. At 18:37 Castle J (far right/purple hair): Leader, Main Rapper, Producer Win (left of Castle J/pinkish hair): Sub-Rapper, Center, Maknae(the youngest) Huijin (middle/red hair): Main Vocalist BIC (2nd to the left/orange hair): Main Dancer, Lead Rapper, Sub-Vocalist Minjae (far left/blonde hair): Lead Vocalist, Lead Dancer This is the group where it would be hard to have just one bias. They all my bias in different categories: Castle J: bias overall and rap line bias BIC: charisma bias Minjae: dancer bias Huijin: bias wrecker overall and vocal bias Win: style bias I feel like Huijin is so underrated and doesn’t get a lot of lines or center time in the choreo.

They're under TOP MEDIA, they created them after TEEN TOP disbanded. MCND during their trainee days 4 of the members were sent to the LA for specialized dance training & you can definitely see it when they dance because is doesn't look forced.
@soniathefan2 жыл бұрын
teen top wasn't disbanded when they were created though? I know teen top haven't been fully active in a long time but niel and changjo's contracts only ended last year and mcnd were in the works or at least already training a while before that. and apparently all of teen top is still part of group so technically not even disbanded but knowing top media that doesn't mean a whole lot... so it does feel like being disbanded. but in the sense that mcnd are meant to fill in the space that teen top is no longer actively filling, I do understand what you're saying
@zr46642 жыл бұрын
@@soniathefan yeah I feel TOP MEDIA didn’t officially disband Teen Top because it would cost them, instead they just didn’t promote them, which I feel isn’t fair, they brought Top Media to the spotlight, if they they would’ve kept promoting and keeping up with the times I think Teen Top would still be big. But MCND is doing great so far, I hope they don’t have the same outcome
@soniathefan2 жыл бұрын
@@zr4664 ah yeah that's fair, teen top is one of my all time favorite ult groups, so watching this all go down (or nothing go down at all) has been... interesting... to say the least. honestly, I feel like they've maybe grown out of being idols, or drifted away? which is totally valid and understandable. I just wish there could have been some way top media could have just amicably ended it sooner, even though they all probably agreed to just ride it out. but yeah... hopefully it does seem like they're taking care of mcnd pretty well for now and they all continue this enthusiasm long into the future, I've always had a soft spot for every top media group because of teen top to begin with
