Discovering Muyil the Ancient Mayan Trade Trail and Sian Ka'an

Muyil is an archaeological site and lagoon, part of the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Preserve, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located south of Tulum in the Yucatan Peninsula. Sian Ka'an Community Tours takes only 75 tourists per day into the lagoon. Tourism is restricted to protect this complex ecosystem. Very few people can experience these natural lazy rivers the Maya people built thousands of years ago. Muyil was a major trading center between North and South America.
