I bought an RS early this year I got it set up with shad hard cases for sport touring... Corbin makes a great-looking seat

Sick! I'm sure it's a great all-around bike!

Don’t worry about all these negative comments about your shifting habits. I own a 2022 Z900 and I love to keep it in the RPM sweet spot riding in town. Ride on brother and keep safe!! ✌️

Hey thanks! I really appreciate that. At the time of this video, I was still a relatively new rider. Ryan F9’s video about shifting and RPMs was fresh in my mind, and so I did think keeping it in the sweet spot as you noted was how I could get the most out of the bike. Can’t do 6th gear and lug the engine around in stoplight to stoplight traffic! Ride safe too! ✌️

So what bike did you end up with? I have a candytone blue '22 900RS. Love it. Love your enthusiasm. Cheers.

Wow, that is a beautiful color combination! I bet you're turning heads everywhere :) Truth be told, if I could have gone home with a Z900RS, I would have just purchased it at the dealership on the spot. However, I obtained quite a different bike (my first bike ever) a few days ago. A video on the new bike will be released once it's back from the shop! Thank you for your support!

Don't you use the top three gears?

Sorry, I have over 61k miles on my 2018.... Routine maintenance... Good to go. Saddle bags, center stand, heated grips, and wind screen. O.k.

Sounds like a great setup to take long trips on! Would definitely take the Z900RS for cross-country excusions!

I thought this bike had more than 3 gears...

I wanted to keep it in the rev range and hear that nice engine note! Going all the way up to sixth gear was rather unnecessary given the speeds we were going 😇

Obviously before they sent you out on the demo, they didn't explain this bike has more than three gears and you didn't seem willing to find out for yourself (poor style), still with that kind of riding, you'll be able to tell your buddy this bike gets eight miles to the gallon!!
@BulaMeister7 ай бұрын
Wish I had more time to find out for myself! Perhaps a solo ride will do the trick :)

Boomer take. Imagine telling someone to get up to 6th gear in stop and go traffic with a group of people. Use some sense here, mate. The RPMs need to make sense with every shift, otherwise you just lug the engine unnecessarily.

Not even worth replying to people that haven't learned to ride a bike. Still suppose your too used to Automatics over there, so I'll let that go.
