Discovering the Creality Ender 3 - Unboxing to 1st Print

I never thought I would get into 3D printing, even though it offers huge potential for realising designs quickly and easily, without the faff of fabricating parts.
Over Christmas 2020, I found a great offer on BangGood that I could not turn down.
I've never built anything like this before, but I think the kit from Creality is absolutely brilliant as a starter kit - this is going to do me perfectly well for the projects I have planned in the near future

I was watching your videos about the FFB wheel (great job btw), and this one popped up next. The Ender3 is great, I have one and it's been very useful! Biggest mod I made was using a Raspberry pi 3a+ to connect it to my wifi network (octoprint) and not having to transfer files via µSD card. Two things I learned the hard way: - PLA is very stiff, but if a constant force is applied, it bends over time. PETG behaves better in that regard. - I also made a dry storage box for the spools. Otherwise the filament becomes brittle if improperly stored for a few months. (humidity is what kills it) The filament box was a big food container with a lid. Some people use IKEA boxes. I sealed it with an adhesive strip for sealing windows, and put some silica gel bags in it (4x 50g bags from amazon). When they turn green or the bags gain >30% weight, I dry them in the oven at 120°C.

well hello, i stumbled across your channel i like what your doing im make odd things out the rubbish i find what neighbour's a throwing out and now im in to gaming im interested in your steering controls i don't know the in's an out of a pc let alone anything else but ill have ago. now im waiting for what your doing next
