Wow! The animals were awesome. I couldn't believe the otters and the sounds of the howler monkeys. This was an amazing trip and an amazing lodge.

The otters were a huge highlight! We agree about the sounds it was one of our favorite parts of the Amazon. The howler monkey noises were so wild! Such a great experience.

Your video of El Selva was great! The videography was absolutely well done. The wildlife and the photos of the was the wildlife made El Selva well worth it. A lot of people would have liked to be your shoes. The food looked hard to beat too. The whole video was the next best thing to being in the Ecuadorian Selva!

Hello Sammy and Tommy! Wow! I am loving all your videos! We are headed to the Galapagos a year from now. Quick question about La Selva...I do not want A/C in the room because the night sounds are so wonderful in the rainforest. Please tell me that they have screens so you can sleep with the doors open. Also, when there is A/C, there seems to be the constant hum from other rooms nearby which covers up the amazing sounds! Sacha Lodge has added A/C with no option of opening your doors so I'm hoping that La Selva will be the one! Thanks SO much for your help! And thanks for sharing your trips with the world!

Hi!! Thank you so much 🤗🤗 we really appreciate all the love and support!! La Selva doesn’t have AC in any of the rooms. The Amazon sounds are absolutely WILD and you def get to soak it all in at night. The rooms at La Selva have screens and a ceiling fan. It’s an open aired concept and then you have the mosquito netting for night time. You will love it! Sounds like you guys are going to have a phenomenal trip 🫶💕

We've been to Peru's section of the Amazon and stayed in The Treehouse Lodge and I dream at night of hearing those wonderful sounds again. We cannot wait! I have watched several of your videos and we will be in Ecuador in three months. We will be mainly on Galapagos, but have 5 days left for the main land. Which place would you prefer - LaSelva or Mindo? We are travelling with three kids, so must be interesting for them too. Any ideas?

Sounds like an amazing trip! I think Mindo has so much to offer for children with hiking, waterfalls, birds, chocolate tastings, the butterfly sanctuary…La Selva is great if they enjoy looking for animals, boat rides, etc but more tranquil.
