In the early 80s our organization's HR group required an updated multi-use system and the IT VP of the day's group brought Alec Sharp into to lead the business process and data modeling. I hadn't met Alec up to that point but his work upfront ensured we got what we needed, wanted and met the timelines and budgets. Alec had the approach of organization development consultant. in how this project went from the ideas to the implementation.
