Mother from Ardmore, Connemara, father from Newbridge, Kildare. They emigrated to England, where I was born. My childhood was spent in S/W London. Now live in Cardiff, Wales. Siblings in Scotland! We Irish get around! Connemara is beautiful but I will visit in a heatwave as I dislike rain, rain, rain. Great video. Thanks 🙂

Padraig! That means Patrick :) I wish I could speak Galgeh. It's such a pretty language. I am of Scottish/Irish descent. I am American, but I live in Australia now. I hope I get to visit Éire one day.

"No water deep enough to drown a man, nor trees tall enough to hang him, nor sufficient soil to bury him" - Oliver Cromwell's opinion of this place. Wrong, as usual.

I think that's supposed to be poetic.
