Classical problems of Greek geometry

The ancient Greeks were especially fond of geometry and particularly obsessed with three geometric riddles.

The ancient Greeks did solve the problem of the doubling of the cube... Menaechmus came up with two solutions, one using intersecting parabolas and and another using a parabola and a hyperbola. They just could not solve it using compass and straightedge alone. They are "impossible" only in this limited sense.
