5/30/22 - I went to this park with my family. We met a 19 year old Altlantic bottlenose dolphin named “Marea”. Everything about Discovery Cove was great. My experience was a 10/10.

Depending on the dolphins you may get to interact with more than 1 during the encounter. Some only do part of the interactions as part of their training. Capricorn's the superstar.

Do you actually get to swim with the dolphins? An example would be a belly swim. This is where the dolphin is on his back and you hold on to his pectoral fins for a swim.

The experience was modified a little during our visit. Trainers said that pre-Covid guests were able swim in deeper water with the dolphin. This video was filmed in April of this year and health and safety procedures have since changed. We recommend contacting Discovery Cove to learn more about the current experience.

Is there a height or age requirement for this experience? We are a yearly Disney vacation family but we haven’t been to discovery cove with the kids yet, they are 7 and 4!

Yes!!!! It’s amazing, I fell in love with the dolphins snd the snorkeling is beautiful swimming with tropical fish.
