Surf-fur WaterParka Boat Coat Review - For Scuba Diving
Thanks to a tip from my dive buddy Sean, I purchased, tried and now reviewed the Sur Fur Waterparka (boat coat). It's wind and waterproof, ankle-length, reversible, and has "open" pockets that allow changing. This coat is perfect for chilly surface intervals and/or for driving home after a scuba dive. The one downside is the price, which is more than many of the cheaper neoprene boat coast, but about the same price as the Scuba Pro offering.

Hi, I've been following you for a long time and everything in your videos has always been spectacular. Your sense of humor is great, the quality is fantastic, your explanations are clear... this channel is absolutely brilliant and you helped me a lot with the majority of my curiosities about the world of scuba diving, thank you so much. Anyway, I would like to make a suggestion (if it's not a problem): I'm convinced that you can add a really funny video on your channel to show some of the funniest things happened while scuba diving or even during other water activities (like swimming or anything else), it can be something like a "oops and bloopers" compilation. For example, you could make a compilation of all of the times where you or your friends get "caught" on video while peeing in the water (my uncle relieved himself in a surfing session while he was waiting for a wave and that was hilarious, he always says there are 2 types of surfers, divers and swimmers: those who pee in the water and those who lie), you can also include those moments in the future videos just to keep having a bit of humour on your channel, you can use both old and new clips, what do you think? I know it sounds weird, but, for me, it's the funniest thing about divers and swimmers. When a diver pees in the water or in his wetsuit, I think he demonstrates to be someone who is not afraid of consequences or to be judged. I think it's something that can come out great! I'd be so so happy to watch it, let me know, have a great day!

Nice video Jim. I like referee skit at the start. :D I was thinking about getting a Boat Coat, but I find neoprene jackets too bulky. I already carry around a lot of gear in the winter and I don't want any extra bulk. The Sur-Fur looks pretty light and compactible. Is it? (And is compactible an actual word??) By the way, I'd never heard of OxyClean before. I'm really happy to learn about this product and it's environmentally friendly properties. Fortunately it seems to be easy to get hold of in Taiwan (and cheap). :)

Hi Simon! Oh interesting, I was surprised to find Oxiclean is available here reasonably. It does pack down well, comparatively for its unpacked size. There is a dry pack available, which I should have gotten. Def light 👍

LOL! I'm SO glad that I'm not the only one who routinely confuses the names Oxycheq and Oxyclean. Both of my wings are Oxycheq and I use Oxyclean as my go-to stain remover. Yet, I STILL confuse the names when I'm talking either one. DOH!
