This is just a normal everyday life in Singapore rather than CNY preparation. They are out and having everyday meals, outing and daily routines.

_Wonderful looks at the CNY fever that is gripping Singapore at this moment.Singaporeans are not letting the Pandemic deny them the joy and happiness that they feel. Way to go Alan for giving us a glimpse of the celebratory process. You are certainly due some hongbao$. Another nice and vivid video from you.Pity no lion dances this year due to the Covid-19 restrictions. Keep exploring my EZ-Rider!_You are doing us proud_ *Huat Ah!*
@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV4 жыл бұрын
Yeah it's sad to have those dances cancelled. I think they are still allowed in public event places (like outside takashimaya) but not allowed to go shop to shop 😔 gonna be a quite cny this year
@jeremykwan17924 жыл бұрын
@@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV Yes a quiet CNY this year, that will be a first in Singapore. But no choice lor.😢

Nice to see Singapore is 'normal' now. Their government and their people did a good job! That's because they are smart people!!! No one shouting 'it's my constitutional rights to not wear a mask'.

The fine is too hefty to not abide.........
@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV4 жыл бұрын
It's was challenging in the beginning. Something over our nose and mouths wasn't an easy thing to get used to. But when we saw the government fining people and people appearing on papers and KZbin videos, I think we all started to realise its real 😂 better wear if not we will be fined S$300 and be on news paper. Now this mask wearing habit, it's really 2nd nature.

Same. It has changed alot since then. I used to head up to the 3rd floor where there was a vegetarian restaurant almost every weekend for dinner. There was a video game stall nearby and I used to stay there for hours watching people play video games.

isn't singapore a chinese city?
@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV3 жыл бұрын
It wasn't the case in 1819. When our modern founder, Sir Stamford Raffles, arrived on our shores. Singapore was known as Temasek and was mostly a village. He arranged for the planning of the colony and Chinatown was created to house the immigrants and workers coming from China.
