I'm so glad Ken is getting a piece of some of the monetary gain that disc golf can offer these days. He's more than earned it. It would be cool to see him on more commentary as a way of repping Discraft. Just introduce him as "Discraft Ambassador, Ken Climo, on commentary...." Whatever you need to do to promote the guy.

For every Ken Climo disc you do not buy I will buy 10. a legend who made squat off of being a legend literally had to work a 9 to 5 to get by while being the best player in his sport. Get the bag champ!

This was my speculation was Discraft didn’t expect that number but respect for it and assuming he could play any at all he would be huge for the masters tour 💯👍🤷‍♂️

Ive heard it said REPEATEDLY that he is able to play a round of disc golf...just not two or three or four days in a row....he is beyond needing to compete in tournaments to be relevant! Hes already peak Lengendary status so joining a practice round w Ez and Goose and whatever else he does now that hes coming out of the woodworks will have huge buzzz worthy impact! Also Love his commentary and insights. Thanks to Paul too for helping getting this moving!

With every sport there are record setters and despite the "era" the records are set and they have to be broken. No one would you tell the Babe Ruth's of the world or the Reggie Jackson's of the world that their records are less valid because of their era, today's Mookie's and Freddie's respect these record holders and are trying to break those records because they were the true record holders. Tiger Woods would never devalue Jack Nicklaus's major wins by saying it was in another era, Tiger is #2 and Jack is #1, no dispute. Please respect Ken's records, he worked very hard to set them. Even PM himself says Ken is the Goat, I need to surpass his world records, no dispute.

I don't often agree with McBeth - but one thing I have always agreed about, is that Kenny has to be more visible, and more involved in disc golf. He never made much cash when he was competing, and I think it's nice to see DRASTIC, err, I mean DISCRAFT pick him up and pay him properly. I think he can live on 4K a week! Edit: Why aren't you counting Ken's masters titles? He is a 14x World Champion! Maybe 15x? Edit 2: Just a reminder that Kenny comes from a different age in Frisbee Golf - for example, Ken has never performed an X-Step. He never crossed over, and he only performed a side-step. THAT'S how far back he goes!

Showing the CHAMP some love to allow the CHAMP to work less and be the CHAMP for more future CHAMP'S of the world! It may look like no money is to be gained, but I see plenty of training with the CHAMP, the CHAMP clothing ext! My hats off to Disccraft! This might actually be a sports contract that is actually helpful for the player!

While I’ve never purchased a disc based on a players name being stamped on it, I suspect I will at some point in the not too distant future get a Ken Climo Buzzz from the used bin. Since I buy exclusively used bin discs.

If Kens not actively playing tournament's then i don't see the point in a sponsorship. Give it to the guys that are making a name for themselves using your product trying to make this a career. I dont understand paying our company's biggest competition to put his name on discs he didn't use. Wont buy them. Stupid

They may be investing in their youth. He gonna work with the youngins to produce more gannons. Gannon is the new model, as much as people don’t like him. Results are everything. Don’t matter how likeable you are. Wins and top finishes get you paid. If your brand is winning, everyone’s winning, period. Either that or I see discraft taking over the streaming game, ken as the face 🤷‍♂️

@warmfridge3320 Paul McBeth . The signature never changed. Discraft is known as the the elite team . Everyone starts at prodigy then goes to Innova / discmania. They cancelled contract with discmania and kept discraft as there side project.

@warmfridge3320 it's in the fine print Paul is a secret to disc golf . He hasnt plastered his name on anything it's all discrafts idea . He help take the roach and retool it for the Luna and he uses that disc. .. The pm line isn't anything like the Simon line paul isn't a sell out just a disc golfer. Who else to sell a product of high quality then Paul.. A name to trust.. Innova and discraft.. then MVP and streamline You have now dynamic who moved over seas to join with latitude 64 and Westside. Now you believe everything you see or just told

Id be furious if i was a current player and watching a non player get this kind of deal. Climo means nothing to 60+% of modern players. Rather see the young people on tour get a pay raise than Ken get a giant contract for doing nothing the last 15 years.

There was a point in time, you'd pay double for what he was throwing. And his disc, were always highly sought after. I still have plenty. I never liked innova, seemed to shady. So glad he finally dropped them millionaires. He made innova who there are. Heck he Made those guys kids rich. But they skimpy on him. Like Jordan's. Mike made nike
