Always a big fan of the Fomi. Easy on and off a must. Always wore a 1.5" thick Gun Belt which is in agreement with that you said.

I have been around the CC game for bit, for OWB I like the Bladetech holsters. I have a Desantis for the LCP I carry while gone but still prefer a 5” 1911 while I am home, which is OWB and hidden by a longer shirt.

Great video. I've been CCW for a long time and tried a bunch of different holsters. A local company to me in Reno makes a really good holster. LAG Tactical is my go-to for any freedom whistle I got. Even my full frame VP9. That being said, I really like your setup and might try it for myself.

DCC are my go to now. The ulti clip has never worked for me. I have some with the soft loops, but I love the DCC clips. I try to get everyone to try them. And yeah, I have a collection of holsters like almost every gun guy does 😂

Ordered my 4th holster from CYA but this time I got the mono clip because the plastic ones are just not working out for me. The mono clip worked so good I've ordered 4 more. CYA always has free shipping, the retention don't have to be adjusted straight out of the box on their holsters. The mono clips are ten bucks and even they had free shipping! I'm just a customer, not paid for endorsing them, they are just good holsters at a good price!

Great vid. Just subbed. Heard the DCC clips snap closed perfectly on 4 mm thick belts but may not on thicker ones. I understand that Kore and Nexbelt and such are 5 mm thick. Any idea offhand if the clips snap closed with your EDC pants coupled with a 5 mm thick belt, assuming you may have one? Thanks!

I have my full frame Ruger on and off me so much that I just use a Sticky in the small of my back. Works well but definitely takes attention when in the bathroom.

I use a crossbreed rouge holster with the monoblock clip for my Glock 43x in the appendix position.

Im a heavier guy myself just getting into aiwb. Ive always carred strong side in a Tier 1 Echo holster. I always wear a belt (Kore X7) The problem Im having with the monblocks is that my gun rotates a bit. Im thinking about trying the Tier 1 Concealed Xyphos holster.

You may need a holster that allows you to adjust the cant. Usually I find the holster is offset or moved when belt is too loose or something is physically pushing the holster to the side. What is your experience?

@@decadeyt5891 I've always carried strong side in a T1C Echo and that has the belt clips spaced apart. There was never any movement because of the clip design. What I ended up doing was taking one of their belt clips and attaching it with the screws from the claw. This stops the grip from rotating towards my right pocket. I did experiment with belt tightness but I had to get it uncomfortable tight to stop.

The ulti clip is a little more secure but I like the DCC better because I can do belt or belt less with the same holster.

The "worst" thing about the Discreet clips is they're a bitch to get off a Kore Essentials belt, but in actuality, that's a damned good thing!
