In this video I go over the basics of the 945 Industries Modular Bag and how it works. I am using the Sig Sauer X Macro for this video. I think there is a lot good uses for this bag. Once I get more time with it, I will make a follow up video on how well it forms to my everyday carry and lifestyle.

Loved the bag you are reviewing here, I carry and xmacro comp myself (with a 507k, TacDev proledge and tlr7 sub) but I can't justify in my mind paying $100+ for a fanny pack. There are other options, I currently have a cross body bag with the same pull tab/velcro holster concept that's a bit bigger, has more pockets that I only paid $30 for, nice quality too. It's the M-Tac Tactical Bag shoulder chest pack. Granted, it came with a cheap velcro holster, which I threw away, bought a simple kidex holster that would hold my setup, bought some velcro to stick to the holster and works great with the velgro side that comes inside the bag. Would be great if you could review it. Great video though, love your draws.

Agreed 100%. Found the M-Tac on Amazon and am presently using it with success for my Beretta PX 4 Storm Compact plus a 20rd mag. All my usual pocket goodies are carried here as well and separated out nicely. Over $100 is WAY too much, but you made an excellent vid, showing good techniques. Keep up the great work.

I disagree. In NYC they are so common that you blend in like any other civilian walking around. If anything this stands out more in less metropolitan areas, unless NYC is just an exception with the crossbody bags.

Around my metropolitan area, chest bags are common fashion with everyone. With certain groups, like my demographic of Zoomer Asians, it is assumed that everyone is strapped regardless if what they have on them. The yuppie white girls (who also have chest bags) are none the wiser.

This looks like a great option, but my only critique is that it doesn't have a retention line coming under the armpit. I found that, without them, these slings tend to slide down toward the hip.

It comes with a secondary strap that acts like a chest rig strap going behind the back so there’s technically 4 points of retention keeping it centered.

One thing I noticed is you always start the timer with your hands at the ready, on the bag. A real life situation would be off guard in most cases. Start the timer with your hands at your side. Just an observation. Love the content.

The bag is ambidextrous. Those little pull tabs are sewn into the upper corners of both sides of the bag so you’ll be all set

Your wearing it wrong for a right hand draw. Ive watched several other videos. Also on their website it is designed to be worn on the other shoulder for right hand draw. U are still extremely efficient anyway. But you may want to look into that. Good video!

@@DreMoney831yes it is a little pricey but you have to think it’s a bag that you can put over 50 different types of pistols in you buy the bag once and from then on just buy a $60 kydex for any other pistol you want to carry to me it’s the most comfortable way to carry possible so yes it is more than worth it

I just got mine and went to the range to practice with it for the first time. Got the large variant with a Glock 43x w/ red dot in it. I love it. It was expensive but I feel like you get what you pay for I’ve tried cheaper ones and did not like them. Weird I’ve been wearing it like that as well with the strap on my left shoulder. I’m right handed, never even considered wearing it on the other shoulder. I’m one of those guys that wear those kinds of bags a lot so I just set it up over my left shoulder like all my others. I will try on other shoulder tho, good one. The fastest I was able to draw and hit the A zone was 1.87, but I was starting with my hands at my sides. Will keep practicing

Actually I think you are right. I was just playing with it and I have the little accessory bag that comes with it and the only way to have it on as well is if the buckle side is the side that’s up on your shoulder (over your right shoulder first right handed draw). The way i was wearing it, same way as the video, the only place to put the accessory bag is behind the buckle so it’s almost behind my armpit and really hard to get to it. Wear it on the other shoulder and it’s right on my side abdomen and very easy to reach. Great thing is, without that pouch, you can wear it any way you want. Good looking out Dre.

The draw is too fast for you to establish a proper grip, which may be warranted in an emergency situation. The gun is dancing around in support hand. Is the draw and fire also too fast for you to hit your target? Who knows.

Not allot of gun options. It would be nice to be able to have a Glock 19 or even 17 option. With the available real estate and concealment potential why not have something a little bigger than the newer stack and half options. I like my shield plus but can already easily conceal it in basketball shorts.
