Thank you for the explanation! In the Nike example, I understand the money could be the SD, is that correct? Have money in the account is the signal to be reinforced buying the Nike. Does that make sense?

Yes! Money signals that you have funds available to purchase buying the Nike- good job

in the dog vs horse example wouldn’t the SD actually be “find dog”? Dog would be a correct response not an SD

Hi Alli, Great question! You bring up a good point. The SD would be the stimuli in the environment signaling the availability of reinforcement. You could argue that "Find Dog" (plus the picture of dog) is the SD. You are correct. Without the picture of the dog, you cannot complete the request therefore not access reinforcement. Does that make sense??

If the demand is "find dog" the dog is the SD since you will obtain reinforcement by selecting the dog.
