Tom Kelley...That was the video that sparked my interest and ultimately led to my first DLG.

So the DLG experience is: You have a half hour to go get some quick flights in, so you head out to a ball field and start throwing. Every time you land, you think, "OK, just ONE MORE throw".... and 2 hours later you wonder where the time went. Oh, and the 600mah 1S battery was good for the whole session!

I have to say that when I first started out I joined a club that hosts DLG contests the first day I showed up a guy sold me a decent DLG for 50 bucks. Some guys are given free (good ones too!) planes if they hang around long enough. They really just want to keep the fun going, the more the merrier.

Hand launch glider has always been the best way to learn about low altitude wind, and discus launch gives all the more time per flight, along with access to wider search area for lift - can't go wrong.

I absolutely love dlg! It's such a pure form of flying. Could you do another video on techniques and settings, as.that's something I struggled with a bit when I started, and there's not a lot of info about. Great to see the great Josh Finn, humble as ever, back in an FT video. Shame, though, you didn't mention The Swede. David gave a great explanation last time you visited this sport.

I don't have any love for gliders(Half the fun of model aviation is the engine propelling it, for me anyway), but I absolutely love seeing these guys featured like this! And I love how welcoming FT is about all forms of aviation. I never once felt like I was being ostracized or marginalized because everything I brought was a fuel burner when I was there for FPVFest 2019, and it was wonderful! Can we get some deets on the scorch marks, though?

Together with "100+MPH Plane At My Face!" it is second great video in a row from FT teem! Why it is on secondary channel? To me this means that FT with it's main content is going away from the videos and content for which I loved FT so much. I'm with you all those years form the very beginning and all those years I watched almost every video you released. Sadly for past year, two or so I find less and less interesting videos to watch. And now this video reminded me those days when I get exited from the moment I see video title and am eager to watch it. I'm starting to wonder should I jump straight in to watching it or should I hold off to make my coffee and make watching it even more special event. Please do videos about gas planes you once mentioned and promised to make in future! :)

You know, flying those big gliders in which you can sit is more than that in the annual cost, but also not far more. I pay like 450€ a year, but I like to do long sessions just floating and being one with the air, right now I am not allowed to fly away, though, mostly because I do not have a license yet. And actually, compared to like football, I think it is not so expensive as it sounds actually.
