I am so thankful for this series. I’ve been looking for a summary of covenant theology. I haven’t been able to find anything that was more in depth than a Redeemed zoomer meme video (great stuff) but simpler than a systematic theology book. Thank you so much for this crash course. Pastor Keith: since you're using the switch online emulator it may interest you to know that if you hold down the left and right trigger at the same time you can rewind what you did in the game. It wouldn't be a necessarily fair win, but it would help you out since you've never beaten the game lol

Noooo! Don't give up on level 4-2. You have to keep holding down when you jump. Also it helps to not be so close you're touching the one you're trying to jump on. Probably best if you just don't hit & reveal the one you were standing on at all.

My problem with New Covenant Theology is that it seems to contradict Paul's letters about the redemption of Israel as well as Revelation's list of those redeemed from the 12 tribes. It even seems to contradict Jesus' own words. "Do not think I have come to abolish the law of the prophets". If Jesus said He didn't abolish the pact with Israel and by extension Judaism when He was crucified that would mean He was lying. With that said there's also plenty of verses that suggest the abolition of the Old Covenant it the Pauline Epistles.

I love how there are so many comments on gameplay and so few on the theology. That being said, Augustinian teaching attempted to eliminate the Jewish nation from scripture by replacing all the promises to the Jews with the church. Paul taught over and over that we are free from the law but at the same time we keep the law as best as possible in order to honour the God who gave this law. Keeping in mind also that the purpose behind the law was to teach us that we could not achieve heaven by our own efforts. This was a lot of fun to watch though. Thank you. Try Pac-Man next - simpler and less concentration required :)
