Yeah, Alex definitely relies on chaos to make distance when a chase is on-going; either that or the unlikely possibility he finds a super-car during the chase and can actually afford to switch, in which that case he can get get out of sight exceptionally quickly just out of pure straight-line speed. One survive the hunt his only option left was to resort to running on foot while the hunters actively pursued Alex (I don't remember why, or which one) and out of some movie involving plot-armor he found a super-car in a garage awaiting him, and he narrowly escaped that one alive. That has to be one of my favorite survive the hunts, that and the one where he escaped on the beach after a chase that lasted ages (Was an older one as well). So it definitely goes to show Alex is put in unpredictable situations where he has to find creative solutions to survive, which really makes STH so good in the first place. Keep up the good work if you do see this Mr. Longbow.

God, I love this community. It very well could be STH 17, since it would only be a couple away from 20 I know for sure. The moments where Alex goes on the offensive and survives are great, since it's a risk and reward play that always puts some good tension and action in the mix. I also have pondered for a long time if Alex is allowed to get a boat, since if he is well that would be quite interesting - a chase in the waters? I was excited that it would possibly happen in STH #25, but it didn't appear there where any for the taking; asides it would have directly informed the hunters where Alex was located. I love the fact that the hunters where shocked that he took that route, and I am sort of wondering if it would actually be viable. I haven't played GTA 5 so I wouldn't know the map too know if in his restrictions it would be effective. One of these days it would be great if Alex just did a yolo attempt where instead of pris he actually tried to kill as many hunters as possible before the end of the time - they wouldn't know this of course if / when it happened. Still a thought.

Might even have been a recent one. Think he got off it pretty quickly and never returned, but it certainly would be interesting. Have you seen the STH he did in Forza Horizon 4 where he spent the whole time following the hunters at full speed, pretending to be one of them? The mad man actually got away with it haha. But I think that'd be way too risky in GTA V because of the hunter chat. Test Drive Solar Crown is right around the corner, and that's expected to have a pretty massive map with tons of playable city area. I'm willing to bet they're gonna try at least one STH over there, and that I can't wait for. But for now, GTA does just fine.

It would not be a bad idea to have some of the hunter's record their video. This could actually be included when FailRace realizes he's being pursued as a kind of live dash cam. It's likely more work and editing than is really worth it, however.

This is absolutely fascinating. You'd think that as this series goes on it would become more simplistic but the opposite is true. As each individual learns about behaviour patterns (both Alex and AI) the complexity increases. This also means that predicting future behaviour patterns becomes more complex. This in turn means that there is an added level of complexity as Alex and the hunters develop more complex levels of strategy based on how they predict the different outcomes. Then on the level of human interaction and communication you have another unexpected outcome. You'd expect that as the hunters work together more they would become a more cohesive unit and therefore more successful. However as it becomes apparent that behaviour patterns are less predictable and more chaotic different theories of predicting future behaviour emerge...sometimes even within an episode. This leads to less coherence within the hunters and more conflict. I reckon a good psychology, social anthropology or even maths student could get a decent PhD out of watching this. I may have had a couple of beers and I'm still nulling this one over so cut me some slack!

Like the hunters predicting which pri he will go to next, and Alex realizing they're going to expect it and goes for a different one but then the hunters predicting he will dupe them and predict the correct one and then Alex predicting he should go for double reverse psychology and go for the obvious one while walking down the street blending in with pedestrian AI and watching the mayhem unfold after blowing the pri and discreetly aim a weapon at an AI car so that they take off in front of the hunters.

Well it's not necessarily incompetence, there's just a lot of chaos during STH. I will say some shenanigans do cost the hunters in some of the STH, though the AI are just a real-pain for hunters leading them on a false-chase on occasion. Also Pri notifications not showing up nearly defeats the purpose since it can take a minute or two before the hunters can figure out which one if they hear it and don't see it, by then Alex is only in the very rough-area if not gone. It also can be hard to distinguish who is driving what vehicle in amidst a lot of chaos; especially when a truck accidentally becomes a hazard that throws one off. I can understand your point though :).

If you've ever played STH, you'd know that hunters describing accurately while chasing the survivor at the same time is incredibly difficult. You're trying to do multiple things at once and hoping the others are understanding what you mean and the more voices on the mic the harder it is to single out the instruction. So call it incompetence, if you choose. But it comes across as you don't seem like you've ever played before. Last time I did it, we had everyone on mic (5 hunters and 1 survivor) and the survivor was taunting us telling us that one of the hunters passed him and it still took us 15 real world minutes to find him, to say nothing about the actual killing him to win. And that was 6 people. Looks like this group consisted of 16-ish people. It's a tough game for everyone involved which is what makes it so interesting.

Tip for the hunters; Alex sets off the explosion right after a traffic light hits green. Watch for a set of traffic that just left an intersection, he'll more than likely be a part of that group. Like this so the film crew can see this.

How about adding a few challenges since you're getting better at destroying the Prii's? First two, you can destroy them with any car you get. The third ones, you need to destroy it while driving an SUV, then the fourth with a sports car, fifth goes back to whatever car you ended up with and then rinse and repeat. You also could add a motorcycle to the equation to mixed things up.

I have a question if hunters can use flare guns, if so, maybe I came up with an interesting tactic for hunters, each hunter is betting on a given intersection, 3 hunters get into the helicopter and one in the airship, and the rest of the players at the intersections scan the npc with a flare guns, when they see fugitive they shoot up in the sky im the direction where the fugitive is moving so that the helicopter can follow him, and the rest of the players follow him and block him, and the helicopter team jumps out and kills the fugitive

You know mate, considering the chaos that goes on in the hunters chat, I reckon you could get away with doing a run where you drive around like one of them. Find a car early on that they are likely to pick, blow a pree, drive a little ways away and then turn around and drive like a bat out of hell back to the explosion like a hunter would, stick with the pack for a bit, then go to another pree. Yjey'd never expect it and they would have a hard time communicating that you are not actually one of them...

Alex i was thinking that AI cars that goes straigth at two lane junctions dont go to the right lane but stay left, all of the right lane turn right, and maybe thats why AI cause trouble when you wait on a red light.. just a theory. Great episode greetings from rollonloophole
