Neither happened, so it was "technically" a draw (as Alex put it). ETA: Also, Alex accidentally became "The Beast" which created a bunch of wacky things that made it hard to call "fair", so "technical difficulty tie".

Don't know if anyone has told you, but the Funny Truck is a transfer truck: used for moving trailers very short distances, usually around stock yards/warehouses/parking lots or among buildings. There are a couple factories not too far from my house that uses them fairly frequently.

In the first episodes, the hunters even had helicopters or the ultralight air thing to keep up on at Alex. It worked so well and efficiently, that Alex barely could shake them through the buildings in the city and they decided to make the rule that the hunters only can use the blimp left, which can not be that fast and agile. So if they ever going to found out the most tough episode of STH, the "no helicopter" rule shall be off again for the hunters.

As Alex said, they thought the hunt were over at that point of time and thus maybe used some more profound language than they do during knowing to be recorded while STH is still on. And Alex maybe just didn't want to risk the video being taken down. Relatable, but he could upload it alone. Maybe anyone of the hunters uploads it.

I've been thinking about how you could make a standalone game out of this. Maybe keep it constrained to walking around a city-block, and have players trying to blend in with crowds of NPC pedestrians, while also trying to determine who around them is actually a real player. Include some kind of punishment to discourage players from just lighting up random NPCs, and you'd have a wonderfully tense game of paranoia and spycraft. Could have a few different gamemodes too, to mix up the inter-player dynamics. Like a free-for-all battle royale, where players would have to walk through designated areas on the map every few minutes, with the number of designated areas disappearing one by one as the game goes on. Or the same gamemode with teams, but the players wouldn't initially know who their teammates were, and would have to find out during play. Or a mode where one player tries to reach various points around the map, while everyone else tries to find and kill them (Survive The Hunt, basically). Or a mode where one team tries to escort an unarmed player to various points around the map, while the other team tries to assassinate the VIP by any means available.

1. Sad that the chaos at the end was just miscommunication on it being an escape video instead of the hunters being mad at Bumpy for being chicken with the Blimp and losing Alex twice in this hunt. The bit with Ewan crashing when messing with flares makes up for 2. It's still my headcanon that Blakey ignored Alex on the bike because team orange doesn't snitch on each other.

I like the tension of being sneaky and whether or not if they spot you. Guns blazing throughout and blowing or pri and/or a taskmaster and road blocks are all a fun add on and do. A just guns blazing can be fun as well, but I think it takes the immersion a bit away as well. Or doing everything in First person could be kinda fun as well. It's a bit annoying while being in first person you automatically walk/jog if you move the L3 stick instead with being on 3rd person your character just walks normal when doing the same movement on the L3 stick.

Hey Alex! I have an idea for a survive the hunt variant. Colors! At the beginning of the game, randomly choose a color. For the rest of the game, you will only be allowed to drive cars of that color. The Hunters won't know what color has been selected to start' so the beginning will be like a normal STH. However, once they spot you, the game gets much harder as they will now know what color car you will be driving.

In the smaller scale mode that I play with friends, I may have set a trap or two in my time using prox mines. In the last chase, you could have put one in that tiny gap into the storm drain and as they pass by, blows up three or 4 all in a row AND plug the gap preventing slower hunters from following. Not very sporting though.

The new system with the pillars of light and the red one showing up where something's been destroyed Now is it possible to have the pink prize actually moving around in the area of the city that you guys can move in? If so that would be cool because then Alex would have to drive around If you don't know where they're going to be when he comes across them and he doesn't know where they're going to be when he comes across them he was roughly see where the priest are moving around and as soon as they blow up they will stop And turn red Which gives you an idea of where he was last. I think it would make it even more exciting more difficult for Alex to try and find the moving breeze. you have to consult Amy and her tech person to see if this is possible but I think it would be fun.

I think they spotted the blue/green oracle because usually when you head on an NPC car... the driver dies, keels over on the horn and it just sits there. . The truck that creamed you just faffing about would have killed an NPC driver, so imagine thier surprise when this random car they hit drives off nonchalantly like nothing happened.

In terms of twists to the rules, I'm thinking about spreading more paranoia around by adding 1-2 chased people who can't communicate with each other (but can find each other out and cooperate) + a wildcard hunter that will try to pretend to be a chased person (maybe to balance out the chances, also not able to communicate with other hunters, but able to prepare strategy before beginning of the hunt). Hunters can mistakenly kill the wildcard and it will be permadeath. What do you think?

Petition to do Survive the hunt every two weeks... (If timings for hunters dont work then fair enough, I understand it may be difficult to get that many people to do a STH at a set time every two weeks, but if not I think it would help grow the series and channel - would love to hear the peoples thoughts and yours Alex)

New idea for challenge: only one of the crew has a gun (fully loaded), the taskmaster choose that person so that the rest of the crew plus alex cannot determine which one is the carrier. And the chosen one must not tell anyone. Small hint can be considered. To make it fair, alex can only have one weapon and only one round of ammunition. So the chosen one can either wait for alex to run out of bullet or gung ho from the start

@Failrace there should be a rule where if you want to change outfit you have to at least visit a clothing store to do so. It would make escaping more interesting 😁
