Thanks for the review! I totally agree with you! Played obr for most of 3.0 and it was oppressive to a lot of armies, I think they toned down stalkers, I think we now have a general idea of what the immortis guard profile will be. Probably same move, health, maybe a 3+ armor save, and some type of bodyguard ability. Probably tone down the weapon damage from 2 to 1, which I’m okay with. Vorkmortion’s ability is growing on me, as you said he can just shut down an enemy unit. Looking forward to 4.0

Re: Vokmortian - I think they said everything is an ability now, so if the enemy fights the bound unit, they get Mortal Contract zapped.

Yeah, his Voice works on Non-Fight Core Abilities, so it doesn't take a command point to Fight, but the contract will punish.

I could be wrong, it wouldn't be the first time, but it says Non-fight CORE abilities on Vokmortian, right? Does that mean abilities that are not core abilities in the fight phase? Such as attacking? Or does it mean Non-FIGHT core abilities such as moving? Like is it abilities that are not used in the fight phase or is it non-core abilities that are used in the fight phase? I might be a dumb-dumb, sorry.

It's non-FIGHT core abilities. So it only affects core abilities like move, run, shoot, charge, etc. But doesn't effect Fight so in the fight phase they can at least defend themselves in combat without having to spend a command point. Unit specific abilities are not core and therefore will not be affected.
