Thank you guys, this was poignant, and a heath reminders that we need to keep the invasion in the forefront of our minds as I agree the news can bury the important news under trivial topics (ps I did find the exploding fish tank interesting :)) . Yevhevii, you bring it home what you and your country folks are going through and my heart goes out to you all. Dom and Jerry only second pod cast I have listen to, keep them going as a joy to listen to.

Amazing podcast. Great to hear first hand from Yevhenii just what it is like in Ukraine since the attempted russian invasion. Steph may have mentioned that I've been hosting Ukrainian refugees since the Homes for Ukraine Scheme started. I have a 34 year old lady and her nearly three year old daughter here now. It is immensely rewarding but hard work. The paperwork is mind boggling and constantly trying to keep their spirits up while effectively having it so easy myself. Natalia is missing home and family dreadfully and is still very lonely and desperate to return home as soon as it is safe. To think that I spent 13 years in the military, being prepared to defend the country and was never called on to fight and now Ukraine is defending itself against the same regime we were defending against just brings home how fragile peace can be.
