I have my qualms with tiktok, but I absolutely love how it's paving a new way to share internet horror. I was so excited when I first heard about Island of the Slaughtered, and this gives me a very similar vibe. I can't wait to see what this storyline has in store for the audience.

Fun fact: this whole infection type situation (I noticed you used multiple account storylines, the first one mentioned wasn't the smile virus but something else, smile virus was made by ilovekatz7 specifically.) Seems to have started with an account by the username osuhat, with a flesh and brain eating disease referred to as pestraobia(in fact, iirc the smile disease creator was directly inspired by osuhat). It's really good so far imo, and I feel like it deserves the same amount of attention that the smile virus gets.

I think there's a handful of MLP virus stories and they all seem the same: scary virus destroys ponies bodies to a disturbing degree. I have them all pop up on my FYP and I can't tell which au it's supposed to be and get them all confused

I love mlp horror, so many people in the fandom are so creative and it’s inspired me to make my own infection concept! I’m also kinda conflicted, most people I’ve seen do put the proper warnings and do what they can to keep it away from kids but I’m so nervous this will end up being like when mlp horror was at its peak and kids may see things they shouldn’t, I know I saw stuff I shouldn’t have at that age I just hope we can do better as a community to prevent that this time.
