He should have gone to the commission to discuss this there. When you are summoned by the courts, you go. If you don't, you are in contempt and a warrant of arrest is issued. Zuma never ran away from appearing to Zondo commission. He was ready to go to appear. But he felt that Raymond Zondo was not the suitable person to question him in the Commission because they had their personal issues. Zondo would be biased. But Raymond Zondo refused to recuse himself , why ? Why didnt he give the public benefit of the doubt to agree to recuse himself to see if Zuma wouldnt appear ? It was not about Raymond Zondo and his ego or status. It was about the public getting information from Zuma during the interrogation. Zondo was wrong and he would never be forgiven to have refused to recuse himself. Zuma's crime was to ask for Raymond Zondo to release himself as a Chair person.

at the end of the day- Mr. Mzwanele must put food on the table to feed his family. So thing new or holding waters in what is saying. Also, one has to be civil, respect your Dr.JJ and control emotions. After all, life must continue after former president JZ is in custody. History has been made and this will be part of textbooks. CONCOURT you have made SA on the African Map as well the World. Surely African countries can handle judiciary matters locally.

Nelson Mandela was sentenced to live imprisonment by the apartheid courts? Was that justice? Why did De Klerk open dialogue with him when what they did to him was constitutional? Zuma was a victim of his revolutionary arrogance, If 300 witnesses implicated him, why did NPA charge him and place him before a criminal court? if he chose to exercise his right to silence, The court would make its own inference in its deliberations. Zuma is a victim of Black justice based on its inability to mask their egos. He will be released sooner than later.

Ha ha - just like Al Capone. Wonderful to see him in jail, let's see how long he stays there.

It is very painful for the masses. I can understand why you would celebrate seeing a 79yr old man who did not kill anyone go to jail in the middle of a pandemic. Says a lot about you.

The dude is getting confused with being guilty of contempt of court, and accused defendant that has to go on trial. Zuma is NOT accused, he has already been judged guilty of contempt. The judges themselves and the country were witnesses to the contempt.

Taken to "jail" in an Audi Q7 in the "democratic SA" instead of in the back of a yellow van with a lose spare wheel. And I bet he is jailed in a seperate luxuary cell built especially for comrades.

Mr Zuma please go and testify- this could have been avoided. Maybe poor legal advise. I feel for him truly. (Although I know he would not ever feel sorry for an old white woman like me). May God help you.

This was a great discussion. No one is above the law. I hope the rape case comes up too. It was brushed off like nothing ever happened. It is still haunting me that they allowed it to be a joke.
