I've transmitted am stereo to myself in the 90's. I've actually heard a dsb suppressed carrier isb with two different programs. I've actually used 2 radios to hear Kahn system radio stations before. Slope tune one down and the other up. Heard ALL of the 4 systems before. Phase shift did indeed create interesting distortion. If you tuned your brain to 25Hz, the distortion went away. But now you're mentally locked on 25Hz from that point.
