Discussion on NOC for ground water extraction

On the starred question regarding NOC for ground water extraction from the Jal Shakti Ministry, a detailed answer was received from Hon'ble Minister, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat ji . Also NOC will not be given to any industry except MSMEs that too with conditions so as to reduce stress on ground water.
Also, Prof. Samanta asked a supplementary question to Hon'ble Minister on what is being done to improve the quality of groundwater, especially with respect to high salinity, fluoride content, iron and nitrate content.
