We all know the truth about this article and all agree this article is about the 30yr of Hiplife coming up. But suddenly cos of bias and favoritism, some people are suddenly making it seem as though Stone is right. He’s so inaccurate and has no point in this. Blacko has stated on several platforms that he does highlife with hiphop fusion. Basically that’s HIPLIFE. So what’s Stone and Slim talking about? Stone mentioned Blacko’s name about 4 times in his interview with Portfolio and it appears he has some personal issue with Blacko. The article could have had some sections corrected but that doesn’t make the piece inaccurate. Stone still doesn’t have a case in this. It’s so shameful how we treat people who try to do great work of documenting things in our music industry. Yes they may make some errors or may need to review certain aspects but let’s not trash their work cos we disagree with some sections. It’s unfair.
