In my humble opinion...BBBEE and Nepotism are the leading cause of the ongoing Brain Drain. It is time for SA to unite in all respects and allow all citizens to help build the country, the economy and to embrace all our wonderful races and cultures. SA has the potential to be the best country in the world if politics is removed from everyday living.

Everything in the country is falling apart while ANC is busy electing who is next to loot government's money, not caring or responsible in anything

Lockdown had forced people to work remotely. This skilled workforce have seen the new opportunities opening up and possibilities for them to advance outside of our unstable economy entrusted to a directionless, clueless, greedy corruption riddled government. The skilled workforce have either relocated or are working from outside our borders in safer stable locations with job security. Business opportunities, skills development, increased employment generation, have diminished further with unstable electricity blackouts, lack of accoutability for corruption, incompetent cadre deployment and looting. Lack of equitable incentives to business, which carry maximum financial risk, also saw companies relocatiing or closing down. The economic turnaround can only come from the biggest employer, the state. The lack of political will to make this sector accountable for corruption and looting of state resources makes us a failed state. The lack of maintenance and security of infrastructure, the expectation and the syndrome of entitlement of promised free resources and welfare, breeds a culture of unreasonable dependancy on a looted corrupt state further enabled by their vote and re-election.

Lets be honest, there is no such thing as skill shortage. The problem is companies are looking for geniuses(who are extremely rare to find even in the so called better countries). These companies dont wanna train anyone, they want angels who show up with all the skills.
